The edge of the forest and the starting point "Wanderbares Deutschland" are just a few minutes' walk away and the adventure playground for the little ones is also just 100 m away.

Have you always wanted to know what it's like to sleep in an old horse stable? Then leave your tent at home, bring your sleeping bag, and give it a try! We offer a rustic and simple place to sleep in the middle of nature. We are a small campground, so you also have the option of using the shower, sink and toilet as well as a mini kiosk in the sanitary building. The barrel sauna is available for cold evenings (for a fee).

Enjoy a pleasant stay in a quiet location for hiking, cycling, working or just relaxing. The apartment has its own entrance and terrace. The living room is equipped as a passageway to the shower and toilet with a desk and another sofa bed.

Unlike in the square rooms we are used to, the view can wander unhindered here. You feel welcome, protected and somehow immediately comfortable. You have a small cottage in the old town of Sonneberg. Ideal for hiking. Free parking on the street. Bus stop and shopping nearby. The small bathroom was modernized in January 2026. Washing machine is available. There is a bedroom with 2 beds. A large double bed and one single bed. A snoring room, also often used as a teen room, can be set up on request. The room has a single bed.
