Welcome to our country retreat 1/2 mile from I-65. Stay for a night during a road trip or a little longer and enjoy the area. Visit the Poarch Creek museum or casino at Exit 57. We're close enough for day trips to FL & AL beaches (about 1.5 hours). If you're into history, it's not far to the USS Alabama battleship or Fort Mims. Across the street is The Warehouse Market & Bakery, so you can grab some cinnamon rolls and groceries. Splash pad, parks, shopping & more in the town of Atmore (6 miles).

Step into the raised sunroom and take in the panoramic views of the spring fed lake and the rolling pastures. Enjoy the shade relaxing in the hammock, or soak in the brand new 4 person hot tub on the lower deck. Deer are out most mornings and evenings. This well stocked lake is great for fishing too!

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing! Richard was so helpful and kind leading up to our stay. The place was clean and organized. They even left banana muffins for us in the kitchen! I definitely recommend this SighLo for anyone traveling through Pensacola!

We stayed here for 2 days while looking at homes to buy in Alabama. It was the perfect place to come back to after long days of driving. Our dogs give it 10 stars! They loved being able to run and play after being in the truck all day!

The Blue Pansy was such a beautiful home for our extended vacation. Upon arriving into this beautiful decorated and great smelling home, we saw a personal welcome greeting us, and then in the kitchen next to a bowl of snacks was a hand written note welcoming us. We had done some food shopping before getting to the house, not being familiar with AirBB's, but Vermonda had provided some basics, even if we hadn't gotten to the store, we would of had coffee in the morning, a big plus!! The house is as shown in the pictures,really homey, and very comfortable. Perfect for us, a couple with family nearby, who was visiting for our high school grandsons graduation. My son already had a housefull, so we were only to happy to have our own home away from home. Very quiet neighborhood, but close to the shopping centers, and only half hour to Pensacola. I told my son to make sure he tells his friends that when they come to visit, to check out The Blue Pansy, they will not be disappointed. ♡
