Det er kort vei til Leknes flyplass, Stamsund (Hurtigruten) og ellers kan man ta ferge fra Bodø til Moskenes og kjøre ca. 45 min. På Gravdal er det en dagligvarebutikk, bensinstasjon og koselig kafe Sjokoladerommet. Ellers så er det vakre familivennelige turer i området og på Gravdal nedenfor kirken er det fine bukter/strender man kan sole seg og bade på fine dager. Det er også fint å sykle i området - lite trafikkert.

The property is in quiet neighbourhood of Gravdal centre, with an ocean view of Buksnesfjorden and the surrounding mountains and a 300m walk to supermarket, café, busstops, hospital and several hiking trails. It’s a great location to explore the Lofoten islands as it’s not too far to go either way.
