What you'll do

We will walk through the history of coffee from tree to cup for an hour. Its origins, its harvest, its production stages as well as its roasting.
During this description of the world of coffee and its players, we will each taste a coffee made together using the infusion method that you use at home.
I will be by your side to advise you on the best ways to make your coffee.
The questions will be many and the discussion rich and I assure you that you will leave knowing how to buy better, how to extract better and how to better taste this great product that is coffee.
Other things to note
You will have the opportunity to talk to a coffee specialist in order to learn more about this product but also about French coffee culture and the good coffee scene in France today.

I have been in the coffee business for 12 years now. First as a Barista, then a roaster then a coffee trainer. After trips to London and then to Sydney where I discovered coffee shops, I returned to France in order to democratize quality coffee. I was then vice-champion of France of Barista in 2011. Then I opened Ten Belles, one of the first references of coffee shop in Paris followed by La Brûlerie de Belleville, roaster of great coffee vintages. I was also a judge during the French coffee championships. This passion for coffee is still there after 12 years and I like to pass it on to others.

My first airbnb workshop. Truly amazed by Thomas's insightgful sharing. Workshop was quite interesting as I have little knowledge on coffee and I thought it was a good introduction. Would recommend to anyone who have an hour to spare! :)
