What you'll do

We will hike to the summit of the iconic Table Mountain and experience why it's one of the New7Wonders of Nature.

We will take our favorite more easily missed paths to the top. There are many routes that go up and together we will find one that suits your skill and confidence level. The trails all include a combination of hiking, varied levels scrambling and exposure to heights that will allow us to reach incredible viewpoints of Lion's Head, Twelve Apostles,
Camps Bay, Back Table, and the Mother City. If you have a specific route in mind we can help you determine if it is suitable for you. The trails we do include India venster, Kasteelspoort, Skeleton gorge, and platteklip gorge but if possible and you are able we can do some more wild options.

En route, we will take you into the world of the breathtaking Fynbos Floral Kingdom and the very first occupants of Southern Africa who named the mountain 'Hoerikwaggo' or Mountain in the sea.

Once we reach the summit we will go to one of the awesome viewpoints to take some summit photos or just enjoy the view from the top.

If the Cable Car Station is open then the hike will finish there, where you can then spend some more time at the top and soak in some more views or go and enjoy a well-deserved treat from the restaurant, my recommendations being their coffee, cold beer, appletiser, and milk tart.
Other things to note
Experience duration is dependent on the route and guests fitness and should take between 3-5 hours. The experience ends at cable car, if its closed then please add another 1-2 hours for the hike down.

Martin was a great guide and the 2nd I’ve used on table mountain. On referencing I’ve been up before (India route) he selected a path on the opposite side that’s less used (and longer/just as fun/challenging) so I could see if from a different perspective. It was fantastic. It was such a good call. The path was nearly empty, we were treated to wild flora, cave routes along the way and a spring underground. Highly recommend Martin as a guide when looking for a host. It was just the two of us and I throughly had a fantastic morning.

Martin arrived on time at the specified location, he was flexible on the route we took based on our fear of heights and fitness levels. Overall such a cool guy and the gatzby recommendation was just the cherry on top! Great experience with Martin would definitely recommend to first time hikers

Beautiful hike! The mountain is stunning, and Martin was very knowledgeable and safe up the mountain - I definitely would not go without a guide - it really enhances the experience, points you towards the right trail for your comfort level, and guides you on the right paths, which sometimes are pretty challenging to find the markings- I definitely would have gotten lost otherwise! Great trip!

Really enjoyed our hike up table mountain with Martin. After being exposed to heights a few days before our hike, Martin changed our initial route to accommodate my fear of heights. I highly recommend him ! Lots of interesting stories and felt safe throughout the experience !

We thoroughly enjoyed our hike with Martin. He's really knowledgable: he knows the mountain inside and out, he identified plants along the way, and talked about the history of Cape Town, etc. He took us up a route that was challenging - but not too hard - which I appreciated. The views at the top and the feeling of accomplishment were well worth the cost of this guided hike. I would highly recommend this experience.
