What an amazing place to stay, everything was available and even beyond… we loved it and whatever we needed we could ask the host, and they would arrange it. Defebitely coming back

We stayed 2 nights with 7 people in Kris' Airbnb. The accommodation was exactly as the pictures and we liked it very much. The house was beautifully spacious and had all the facilities / stuff you need. Think of the necessities for the barbecue, herbs, coffee, tea, etc. During our stay we were lucky that the weather was beautiful, making the swimming pool perfect. The contact with Kris went smoothly and quickly. We also liked that the check-out time was flexible so we could leave at our leisure. We had a great stay with little to criticize. If you had to give a point of feedback, it is that 1 bathroom for 7 (or 8) people is actually just not enough. We knew this in advance, but a 2nd bathroom would be useful. Beautiful location with a beautiful view over the meadows. Ghent and Bruges around the corner. Perfect base to enjoy. Daniel and Nathalie also respond quickly to messages. Absolutely recommended.

We were completely satisfied with the stay. Check-in would have been possible much earlier, the place was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared upon arrival. The hostess was always quickly available to us and very helpful. The house itself is freshly renovated and ultra-modern. The garden is large and the beach is reachable in a few minutes' walk. The parking space for four vehicles right by the house is also great. We enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend Grete and the accommodation without reservation.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Sylvia's cottage. What a beautiful place! The cottage is nicely furnished and equipped with every comfort. The swimming pond is a wonderful addition – perfect for a refreshing swim. Also the contact with Sylvia went very well: friendly, fast and clear. We would definitely recommend this cottage to others!

The accommodation is one of the most beautiful Airbnbs I've ever been to! You feel right at home and comfortable. The interior and exterior are very tastefully decorated! Damme is an incredibly pretty and well-kept town. I can only recommend it! :)

We spent a week with our children in this super nice house. The garden is wonderful and we were lucky with the weather so the children could also play in the swimming pond. For our dog, the garden was also super fenced and the sheep next to it were really nice. The house is very well facilitated as is the kitchen. Actually, everything is what you want. You can be in Lille or Bruges in 45 minutes. Kortrijk is close and Ypres was also nice to visit. All in all highly recommended.

We LOVED our stay at Esteban and Joroen's. We had been attracted to the listing by the beautiful photos of the lush garden, the first floor outside decking , the bright interiors and the sense of peace and calm that was radiating out from the pictures. It was amazing to discover that it felt exactly like we had hoped and looked just as the photos but even more so. Such a peaceful and tranquil setting with everything we could need and more. We enjoyed three blissful days of cycling into Ghent on the provided bicycles, exploring the town and enjoying the food and drink options at the vast array of pavement cafe's and bars. In the evenings , after a stop at the nearby supermarket on our way back from town, we enjoyed the hot tub and then some drinks on the decking as we watched the sunset before preparing and eating dinner to the sounds of the wonderful assortment of vinyl that is on offer. In the mornings it was yoga in the lounge, surrounded by the plants, and then a cuppa on the deck

Beautiful backyard garden, and easy to get to Ghent. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything matched the description! We were with our family, 8 adults, for 3 nights in the big house. Everything looked super sleek, clean and well-groomed, cozy and neat. Very nice large bedrooms divided over the 2 floors, with both a bathroom and toilet. At the back, a clear view with a cozy garden and good garden furniture. The "bonus" was the pool room, super fun! Within 2 minutes at a nice Spar with a large assortment. And of course Bruges and Ghent are a short drive away. Ellen responded super quickly to our questions with comprehensive answers. We were in a very warm weekend but with the air conditioning we had no reason to complain inside. Finally, if I may give 1 “point of attention” it is the lack of sun protection or parasol at the rear. In fairness, I have to say that we didn't ask a question about this either, so maybe it was somewhere.

Ria is a very friendly host, super responsive and helpful. Her place is a great choice for people looking to reconnect with nature and slow down. The apartment has an outstanding design. My favourite was the bathroom. There are numerous walking and biking routes available, as well as nice restaurants in nearby towns. Highly recommend!

Tastefully renovated house. The decor is very beautiful while remaining cozy. A beautiful house. The environment is very peaceful and very beautiful (chic neighborhood with beautiful houses and some possibilities for walks). Access to Ghent in 15 minutes.

It was a comfortable and cozy place to stay. Everything you need is in the house, shampoo, shower gel, hair dryer, adapter and so on. It is a peaceful place at night, just 2-3 minutes to the tram station, and a few minutes to the Gent station by tram, walkable to the city centre for site seeing. I highly recommend

Beautiful house. We had a wonderful week’s holiday. We were lucky with the weather. Sheep and chickens intrigued our 2 year old. I struggled with the stairs as they were so narrow and steep but there was a bedroom downstairs. Thank you Ann.

The apartment was totally great. Sparkling clean and nicely decorated. Totally in the Ibiza vibe. In addition, the area was also fantastic. A nature reserve within walking distance and nice villages and Antwerp were easy to reach by car. The communication with Annelies went well, she responded quickly and came up with nice tips. In short, it is certainly repeatable!

One of the very best places we have stayed. Genuine kind and thoughtful welcome, spotlessly clean with modern light furnishing. It was so lovely to stay we would have been just as happy not going out and enjoying the comforts and garden of the property. We would have loved to extend our stay. Next time might try to use it as a base for some local bike rides. The owners have done a fantastic job and the many glowing reviews are well deserved!

We stayed as a group of 8 friends in Matthieus and Helenes beautiful home and really enjoyed our time in this quiet and grounding neighborhood. There was everything we could wish for an Matthieu was very helpful with all our questions and responded very quickly to messages. One of our highlights was coming down in the morning to classical music playing in the kitchen and enjoying the view into the green surrounding. Thank you so much Matthieu and Helene, that you share your precious home with guests. We will keep this weekend in very good memory and treasure this stay :)

A great place to stay! The house is very clean, cozy, and exactly as described. There’s convenient parking on the property, which was especially important for us. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, yet everything you need is close by — the location is excellent. A special thanks to the host: very friendly, responsive, and always ready to help.
