Vacation rentals with beach access in Edam-Volendam

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly what we needed , clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. They really made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

The Hosts were very lovely and friendly, we got a lot of recommendations for the surrounding area and Amsterdam which we couldn’t sadly all do in three days but we’ll be happy to be back and to see all the other things! We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend this place for everyone. It’s a cozy and quiet place, but especially in August - when the Fair in Hoorn starts - there’s a lot to do and see! Thank you for the beautiful weekend.

Everything perfect, felt like home! So much personality in one house!

We were completely satisfied and would come back again and again. The terrace is incredibly beautiful and has helped us to have great evenings.

We had a pleasant stay, the accommodation is close to the center of Hoorn which allows you to do everything on foot (close to a bakery, supermarket, restaurants etc).

First thing I noticed when booking this lovely apartment was the hospitality I recieved from Haring and his lovely wife. They greeted me, gave me information about the apartment and Hoorn then left me to settle in. The apartment is stunning bigger then the pictures. Located right next to a high street. Everything easily accessible. Train station 6 mins walk, Hoorn Harbour 6 mins walk. On Saturdays there is a Market. Really glad to have booked this quite lovely modern appartment. With great hosts. Book this place you will not regret it. Thank you Haring for everything.

Lovely host, lovely place! Quiet, clean, simple. The apartment is just as described, and communications could not have been better. Excellent spot to stay - easy transit connections, options to walk and explore nearby.

the house had everything we needed, and Terisa always answered . the house is a bit far from Amsterdam by public transport so take it to consideration. we had a good time in the house with a very kind welcoming when we came. great value for money!

This is by far one of our favorite Airbnb rentals! The home is comfortable, the location amazing, and the view from the back patio serene. The community is very walkable and provides a quiet place to see canals, ducks, swans, etc. There are restaurants, ice cream, and shops a bike ride (or short drive) away. The home is exactly as Maddy Christine and Tim describe. It has everything needed and more! Book it...you won't regret the calm that this space can provide after a long day of sight-seeing!

Very nice location, very close to the city center. Important to note is that there is no parking space for the car. 500 meters away is a free parking space. We didn't think this was a problem. First drop off the luggage and then take the car to the parking lot, went well (one-way traffic). The cottage is modern and cozy and equipped with every comfort! Train station and bus stop are nearby to explore the further surroundings with public transportation. In the garden, there is a shed where you can store your own/rented bicycles. It is a quiet area and yet close to the city center! Wonderful place and definitely recommended.

Great house in a lovely location in the centre of Hoorn. Unusually large for properties in Hoorn, space for all the family.

Rene’s home is in a lovely location next to the walking trail along a canal and very close to Julian Park and a short walk to the Harbor. We enjoyed riding the included bikes along the lake towards Enkhuizen . His home has a very well supplied kitchen with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The upstairs room with kitchen and living room and large table had lots of natural light and was a delightful area to “hang out”. Washer and dryer in garage are also very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay! Our family of 5 was quite comfortable. Beautiful, quiet surroundings with delicious restaurants nearby. We really enjoyed the local market on Saturday mornings and coming back to this quiet town after enjoying Amsterdam. Definitely would visit again!

Lovely apartment and quiet neighborhood!

We had a wonderful time in this beachfront accommodation. The location is fantastic and the area offers many opportunities for recreation and exploration. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful – their tips for excursions and activities were very valuable. The apartment itself is very luxuriously furnished and equipped with everything you need. We felt completely comfortable and can absolutely recommend this place!

It’s a nice place. Great location, but also quiet. Comfy bed and full kitchen. Communication before our trip was perfect. No questions answered.

We stayed at the apartment for a week with our children. The apartment corresponds exactly to the photos and descriptions. Everything was clean and cleanly equipped. You can see and hear the sea from the balcony. The bedrooms could be darkened superbly. Henk was always available and friendly. The apartment is located in a large residential building. Still, it was totally quiet and relaxing! The location is excellent. In a few minutes you can walk to the beach, in the city with a supermarket, no shops and restaurants. There is also a bicycle rental in the immediate vicinity. We liked it without exception and can recommend the apartment without reservation.

A fantastic house, everything perfect, if it is a small house but for 2 people it is perfect, very intimate and close to the station and the main shops. Great place!

With a car it was a nice accommodation to have a place to park and drive around the area and into Amsterdam. Good safe place to stay.

Tess’s place is one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. Tess met us for check in to show us the beautiful accommodations. She provided local recommendations. What I appreciated the most was the extra touches she put into making the place feel special. There were live flowers in vases, a bottle of wine, waffles, and coffee ready for us. I found everything to be just perfect.
