Cozy, cute with stunning views. Amazing warm cottage. can't ask for more. we miss the place already. The Lake walk and local village is a must see.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here immensely. We visited with another couple and had a wonderful stay. House is big, clean, well organised and has everything you could possibly need. Tara was a joy to deal with and couldn't recommend it highly enough... especially when you have 6 kids running about.

What can I say about this little slice of paradise? It honestly felt like stumbling into Narnia or a secret magical kingdom. We had so many local trips planned, but once we arrived… we didn’t want to leave! The house was absolutely perfect. Between the three of us, we had brought enough groceries for a few days (though the local shop is just a short drive away) We spent our time relaxing, taking in the incredible sea views, and just fully switching off. I swear I can still feel the calm in my bones! Waking up in the super comfy double bed, listening to the sound of the waves and seeing the sea right outside—it felt like something from a movie. Michelle was a fantastic host—so kind and responsive. When we couldn’t figure out the microwave (classic!), she jumped in her car and was with us in minutes. Above and beyond! This place isn’t just a gem—it’s a diamond. Thank you so much for hosting us, Michelle. I’m already dreaming of moving to Annagassan… & I’ll definitely be back!

Really enjoyed my stay at James place! It was so peaceful and relaxing! A lot of work has gone into setting the Georgian theme of the place and he has got it spot on! Also has your modern necessities to insure your stay is comfortable! I enjoyed the walk through the grounds, really made me feel at home being from the countryside myself! I found it so handy that they have a restaurant on site and the food was amazing! All of the staff at James place were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay again! Thanks James for the lovely time!

We had a fantastic stay in Aughrim! The house was beautiful, very well thought out with lovely spacious rooms, wonderfully decorated and exactly what we needed for our stay. Henry and Joan were very friendly and accommodating, giving clear instructions and local recommendations. The welcome basket was a lovely added bonus, and the kitchen and house was well stocked with all the essentials.

Das Wochenende im Haus von Marcus war super! Er war seit Buchung ansprechbar für Tipps und Infos, hat immer schnell geantwortet, stets freundlich und offen. Wir hätten schon früher in das Haus gekonnt, wenn unser Flug pünktlich gewesen wäre :) Auch bei Abreise durften wir unsere Koffer noch im Haus lassen und erst später abholen. Wir haben in seinem Haus geschlafen, das heißt, es wirkt bewohnt ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Bei der Sauberkeit (Bad/Böden) mussten wir einen Punkt abziehen, wahrscheinlich war die Reinigungskraft vor unserem Aufenthalt nicht da. Wir haben sie jedoch bei Abholung der Koffer angetroffen und sie war wirklich sehr fleißig! Die Preis-Leistung leidet unter der Sauberkeit, feuchtem Geruch und manchen Stellen, die eher improvisiert gefixt sind. Dem kleinen Hof tut etwas Gartenpflege gut ;) Alles in allem haben wir uns jedoch wohl gefühlt.

Geoffrey was so kind and gave such great recommendations for things to do around the area! The place is beautiful and is in a perfect location, I was able to walk to everything I needed. The cat is also a wonderful plus :) highly recommend if you’re visiting Dublin!

Comfortable apartment in the country. Spotlessly clean and well equipped.

This was a great place for us to stay for a few days. Wil was responsive with communication and assisted us with checking in. The location was great, close to shopping and food. The kitchen has everything you need to make some meals while staying in. I will come back to this place again.

Firstly, Joan as a host is very friendly, welcome and kind. She was very responsive to my questions and helpful. Previous negative review about Joan and her place couldn’t be further from the truth as Joan couldn’t have done more for us. We arrived around 6:30pm during winter and she’d already put our heating on in both rooms and turned on the heated blanket on the bed which was an absolute treat after coming in from the cold day of travelling. Regarding the temperature, yes it was cold but it’s Ireland in winter so it was to be expected, but Joan has installed really powerful heaters that got it cosy in no time. The place has been renovated since the photographs, it has been decorated in a beautiful funky retro style but still included modern equipment such as an air fryer and electric hob. As for the location, Joan’s place is conveniently only a 10 minute walk from a supermarket which supplied everything we needed for our trip. There is also lots of public transport links nearby. 5/5

what a gorgeous location, the grounds were kept pristine and the cottage was exactly what we needed. The facilities were excellent and the host was attentive and made sure we had what we needed. lovely and peaceful break with the dogs. we will definitely be back again

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Junes Garten in Blessington. Die Unterkunft ist sehr geschmackvoll und es gibt alles was mach braucht. Die Umgebung und der Garten sind wunderschön. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt und bekamen gute Anregungen und Tips für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit! Wir können diese Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Really enjoyed the stay! Location is lovely. Lots of historical sites within a short distance. Very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. House is gorgeous and in a lovely setting. Would definitely recommend!

A beautiful place. Could not say enough great things. The owners are so friendly and kind, the location was perfect. Full kitchen with everything you could need. There is a garden that we were given fresh vegetables from, In addition to leaving us delicious pesto. Thankful that we found such an amazing place 😊

The stay was exactly as described. Really enjoyed the picturesque surroundings nestled in the woods. Waking up to the sound of birds and cows was a welcome reprieve from the sound of alarm clocks. The cabin is quaint but with everything you need and more. The tapes and polaroid created an old fashioned feel, making this a particularly unique experience. The lake and grounds were the perfect surroundings for our engagement!! Loved this stay so much we'll definitely be back!

Helen gave us an exceptional welcome! The place is absolutely flawless – beautiful, spotless, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail was taken care of with love to make us feel comfortable: everything smelled great, felt cozy, and was ready for us. The hot tub was already warm when we arrived, and the barbecue setup was amazing – everything arranged with so much care and attention. We stayed just one night, but we’re already planning to come back for a longer stay. Helen’s place is truly a peaceful haven, where birds sing and the sky is full of stars. Highly recommended!
