Cottage Wipperoen has been in our family for 50 years. It is not on a holiday park, extra safe in these corona times! In 2018 it has been completely renovated and equipped with a new kitchen, lovely beds and underfloor heating. The best part is that it is in the middle of the trees. All freedom on our own terrain of 1100m2! From the cottage you walk into the forest in 5 minutes. Gees is centrally located in Drenthe: Emmen, the beautiful Orvelte and the shops of Hoogeveen are 20 minutes by car.

Drachten and Groningen are 15-25 minutes away by car. Leeuwarden is about 45 minutes drive. Breakfast package possible, preferably passed on before arrival.

The location is just ideal and our children felt very comfortable there – they even fell asleep quickly, which speaks for the comfort. Overall an absolute dream that we would book again at any time. It is a very nice, very complete mobile home with plenty of space around it. A beautiful veranda and ample parking space. We had a dog with us. What was very thoughtful is that there were poop bags, a drinking bowl and a ground pin to put the dog on the grass on the leash! We were only there for 1 night but it was very good. Maybe plant another hedge on the 'street side'. Then you have a little more privacy. For the rest, completely okay!

We had a great time in Dennis' super nice house. Everything is just right in this home. Beautiful layout of the house, perfectly equipped kitchen, great garden, comfortable beds, lots of activities (table tennis, billiards, darts...) and everything is clean. The house just impressed us. The location is also great. Close to the supermarket and nice hiking and biking trails in the area. The communication with Dennis was perfect. He was super responsive to messages. We can 100% recommend this place and will definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is in a great location, ideal as a base for the area. Anything you need is present, from a well equipped kitchen to a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The cozy fireplace makes it extra cozy, especially in the evening. The private parking space is also a big plus. In short: full of comforts and absolutely recommended!

Amazing. Jeanette and Thomas made us feel so at home. The difference is that their home is way more interesting, fun and peaceful than our home! The pool and sauna were awesome after a long day out and about and the friendly recommendations they made were a hit with our group (they were also so kind to make the phone calls). We (2 adults and 2 small children) had a wonderful weekend in the cottage. It is a spacious house with a large garden. In the garden there was a trampoline and that was according to my children the most beautiful of the weekend. The cottage has everything you'll need such as washer and dryer and a nice fireplace. It was also very nice that things like tea, coffee, hand soap and baking paper were present. The area is beautiful. We will definitely come back again.

A spacious house in which everything you need is available. Beautifully quiet location. No view and you can walk from the backyard into the Drents Friese Wold. On the motion camera at night in the forest, a badger, stone marten and several foxes were spotted. A very complete kitchen and a wonderful bed. And easy key transfer using the lockbox. A very nice stay.
