The house is private and in a beautiful spot literally on the bank of the Deerfield River. At the same time, it’s on Route 100 with convenient access to local restaurants and access to several routes to explore the region. The home is well-appointed, cozy, and comfortable. Really can’t recommend it enough. I’m already trying to figure out when we can get up there again. We had objectively lousy weather for our visit but the house was so pleasant we truly did not care.

Highly recommend Brian’s off grid cabin! His directions were very helpful and made navigating the generator, camp shower, and other on-site details super easy to understand and execute. His property is beautiful and peaceful. We’re already looking at our calendars for another time to visit. Our dog, Stumpy, very much enjoyed the outdoor access and pond. He didn’t want to leave!

Catherine’s place was very nice. Will stay again. Stairs do freeze and there was no salt so I’d suggest to be very careful when walking down them in the winter. Would have also been nice to have some more cooking supplies such as oil and baking sheets. Overall, great stay.

We had such a great time staying here! The house was so cozy and clean and was perfect! Felt like being at home and not staying in an Airbnb. Super close to the mountain, especially if you park in carinthia! Loved the guest book that they have in the kitchen, a fun added touch! Robert was extremely responsive to any messages and super accommodating with us and our needs! Absolutely would recommend staying here!!
