Great place, right on the river, very secluded. The cabin was well appointed and the hosts very friendly, as were their dogs. the cabin is right next to the main road, which was noisy. we enjoyed hiking the nearby trails and exploring Cortez and Telluride.

This place was amazing! The kids loved getting to know Kathie and her alpacas (under Kathie’s supervision of course). Kathie is very sweet and we enjoyed hearing about the area and the history of the ranch. The porch was a great spot to take in the scenery and enjoy a cup of coffee. The house was peaceful and had everything we needed for our large family. We stayed in mid-June and it was a little warm during the afternoon and early-evening hours. There are lots of fans in the house, and opening windows certainly helped. Everything cooled off after the sun went down.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The views are amazing in all directions. Even from the shower if you’re tall enough. We enjoyed the lake and caught a few fish. Try crankbaits on the south end rocks we caught some bass and pike. Location was great, with peace and privacy but a Walmart down the street for convenience. Wish we lived closer to this place.

We've stayed here several times and it's always great! This home is just secluded enough to let you know that you're out of town---but only a few minutes to go in for dinner or whatever. You won't go wrong staying here. Great hosts!!
