Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dobong-gu

Host was helpful with prompt responses, and gave clear instructions for the checkin. Love the portable TV as well! Wanted to use the lovely attic for reading but it was a little hot up there, would have been perfect if there is airconditioning in the attic too! Note that the bathroom is not directly connected to the room, but that seems to be how the old style houses generally are. It was a unique experience though, love that the hot tub was spacious and even had a skylight! Room was comfortable and cozy :)

This accommodation is one of the nicest I have stayed at. Such a beautiful traditional house with lots to do. I definitely would have loved to stay longer! Really recommend it!

It was an absolute joy to stay in this lovely home, the house is beautiful and the location is great. We loved the quiet neighbourhood and it was so easy to get everywhere. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable stay in Seoul, I will be recommending to everyone I know visiting Seoul.

交通很方便，坐机场大巴可以直达suyu站，坐4号线可以在30-40分钟内直接到达主要的购物中心。该房间位置不在游客区，其在韩国居民区，周围有美食城，所以能吃到韩国本地的传统美食，食物价格也很正常。房间很干净，空间也不小，设施完善，价格也合理，推荐大家选择该房间

Beautiful stay in a very picturesque area that was accessible to several tourist destinations. Would recommend!

깔끔하고 조용한 숙소와 공릉시장 등 주변에 즐길거리가 있어서 좋았습니다. 경춘선 철길 산책로가 특히 마음에 들었어요. 잘 정돈된 정갈한 숙소에서 3일간 잘 머물렀습니다. 연말에 한 번 더 방문할 예정입니다.

We spent 8 days in Johan's house with 2 kids and we really had a great time here. It's very spacious, 3 bedrooms is extremely convenient with kids (or friends), full-equiped kitchen. Bad smell from bathroom (saw in other comments) has been well managed by a powerful exhaust fan. No smell in the other rooms. But it's not the best part here ! Johan is an awesome host, very friendly and helpful, reminds me my old airBnB expérience. He has waiting for our late arrival at midnight, show us the house, explain everything, lend us 3 subway cards and a neighborhood map with all good restaurants. Bibimbap, Gimbap, Korean barbecue, Burger, Tteokbuki, Icecream's shop, we tried all of them (except Subway and KFC :-) ). And the appartment was just the 1st floor of his family house. Subway is 5 min away, Solbat Park is awesome and you can go for a walk in the Bukhansan mountain in 15 min. On our last day, we even randomly met Johan in one of the restaurant 😀 Thanks for everything Johan !

je recommande maria en tant qu'hote, son logement est un petit nid de tranquillité, un vrai cocon dans un immeuble où on se sont vraiment en sécurité situé dans un quartier où j'ai adoré vivre pendant ces 3 mois, je m'y sentais comme chez moi. si on a besoin d'aide elle est toujours disponible pour aider à le résoudre.

진심으로 추천하고 싶은 숙소예요! 사진도 좋았지만, 직접 가보니 사진보다 훨씬 더 만족스러웠던 곳이에요. 여행 많이 다녔고 에어비앤비도 여러 번 이용해봤지만, 가격 대비 이렇게 훌륭한 숙소는 처음이라 깜짝 놀랐어요. 위치도 정말 좋아요. 전철역이나 버스 정류장 접근성이 너무 좋아서 이동이 편했고, 길만 하나 건너면 맛집도 진짜 많아서 식사 걱정도 없었어요. 덕분에 여행 동선도 훨씬 여유롭고 알차게 짤 수 있었어요! 아파트라서 층간소음 걱정했는데 정말 하나도 없었고, 조용하고 쾌적해서 푹 쉴 수 있었어요. 게다가 생수, 햇반, 커피머신에 캡슐, 목욕 일회용품까지… ‘이 정도 이용료에 이걸 다 제공하셔도 되나?’ 싶을 만큼 사장님의 정성이 느껴졌어요. 심지어 전기장판 여쭤봤더니 직접 가져다주시고 문고리에 걸어주시는 그 배려… 진짜 감동이었어요 ㅠㅠ 주차도 편하게 할 수 있었고, 덕분에 차로 이동할 때도 스트레스 없었어요. 작은 디테일까지 너무 잘 챙겨주셔서 진짜 편하게, 기분 좋게 쉬다 온 여행이었어요. 이 근처 다시 오게 되면 무조건 여기 또 예약할 거예요. 정말 감사합니다! 🙏💙 후기가 왜 이렇게 많을까했는데 명불허전입니다.

Хорошее жилье, все удобства рядом, круглосуточный магазин на первом этаже, удобная утилизация мусора. Рядом хорошие рестораны, Homeplus находится неподалеку. Рядом станция метро и автобусная остановка в 2 минутах. Жилье удобное, все хорошо. Хозяин дружелюбный, отвечает быстро. Рекомендую!

Loved my stay! The airbnb is in a walking distance of 6-7 min ish and had lots of restaurants in the area. Everything was nearby and I’ve found some hidden gems in the area. The Airbnb itself was clean and spacious enough to put a big luggage and carry on, mind you that there is no elevator, so be prepared for a mini work out hehe. All in all, would recommend if you don’t mind living a bit further from Seoul area. I actually enjoy it a lot more than expected and it’s really doable traveling around by metro. Tangerine was a wonderful and kind host, who was quick to help when needed!! Would definitely come back

Above and Beyond – A Truly Outstanding Airbnb Host Our stay at 잠숙’s place was one of the best travel experiences we've ever had. I was travelling with both my parents, who use wheelchairs, and 잠숙 went above and beyond to make sure our stay was not only comfortable but genuinely memorable. From the moment we arrived, he showed incredible kindness and attention to detail. The property was clean, accessible, and exactly as described. What really stood out, though, was the level of personal care he provided. He offered to get halal food for us, which was such a thoughtful gesture and deeply appreciated. He also helped me arrange a rental car, making the process smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he personally guided us around the surrounding area to help us get familiar with the neighbourhood. His local tips and warm hospitality made us feel immediately at home. I highly recommend staying at his property. Thank you again, 잠숙 , for everything. You truly made our trip special!

Great location with numerous restaurants in the area, and access to multiple subway lines as well! The place was quaint and the small touch of setting up the radio to Seoul’s classical music station was really nice. We can’t wait to come back for another trip in the future!

Logement petit mais agréable. quartier très sympa et animé (nombreux restaurants et cafés, commerces et marché de quartier pas trop loin. la ligne de métro est très proche donc facile de se déplacer. L hôte est très serviable et réactif, très bon contact. J ai apprécié mon séjour. L aménagement de la terrasse serait un vrai plus.

Fun stay in an interesting neighbourhood! The place was extremely clean and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and answered all questions quickly. Things were generally as-expected and the experience was seamless and enjoyable. The floating bed was a unique touch and we enjoyed it, but those who are especially tall or have limited mobility might find it a challenge to get in and out of.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. It’s very close to Namsan Tower — we took the bus up and walked down, which was a great experience. You can also easily walk to Myeongdong, which is super convenient, and Seoul Station is just nearby. The apartment itself is great, and the host was kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Highly recommend this place! If I come back to Seoul, I’ll definitely try to stay here again if it’s available.

很愉快的一次入住体验，离弘大很近，我觉得弘大是最好逛的一片，而且民宿离地铁站公交站都很近，所以住这边非常的方便。民宿很温馨，很有家的感觉，房间里应有尽有，跟普通的民宿不一样，有厨具，洗衣机，烘干机，洗衣液，甚至还有卷发棒，对女生超级友好，而且周围环境也非常好，很安静，晚上睡觉根本不用担心会吵。房东人也巨好，有求必应的那种。走的时候非常不舍得，下次来一定还住这里。

Great space. Just enough for one person. I think two people would feel cramped. The space is smaller than in the pictures. I like how she decorated the place. It added more warmth to the room. I enjoyed chilling with the warm lighting and under the covers at night. It felt cosy and like home. Host is kind and allowed an early check in, with specific instructions on how to get to her place. She also recommended me places to visit nearby and responded quickly whenever I asked her questions. I’m a solo female traveler so I felt safe because there’s two passcodes to enter the building, unlock the door and a small lift. Cons: There is a steep slope you have to climb before reaching the Airbnb. So pushing luggage up & down is a hassle. The toilet is also really small. It takes about an hour if you want to go to myeongdong/gangnam/dongdaemun. But the airbnb is closer to the airport and highly accessible via bus/train. Overall, great deal for the price! You get what you pay for!

가격이 저렴하다고 할수는 없지만 그래도 야당역 바로 앞에 있어서 인프라가 좋고 깔끔하고 편합니다

I stayed with a friend for more than a week and we felt good at the accommodation.. William was friendly and communicative. The location is very good, in an area where the locals live ..and from the central area we took the bus about aprox 30 minutes. I highly recommend this accommodation 🤗
