Old Gardener’s House – a waterside paradise

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

In the middle of fields and Knicks, you will find a quiet spot on the edge of the field with panoramic views over the Baltic Sea, the Baltic Sea beach can be reached in 20 minutes by bike. A newly developed 14 m" large construction trailer with a bed (160), a small kitchenette and one seating inside/outside awaits you. The toilet and shower are located in another construction trailer next door. Fresh vegetables and eggs from our garden are available seasonally, as well as a folding bike :)

Quiet retreat with direct water access

This small cottage is wonderfully quietly located and therefore forms an ideal retreat. In addition to the excursion possibilities in Holstein Switzerland, the location on the water also offers an excellent starting point for boat tours. In the immediate vicinity is the Landgasthof Kasch and a dock for the "5-lake tour." A supermarket with Sunday opening is about 3 km away and there are various other shopping facilities, as well as restaurants, within a shorter driving distance.

Enjoy a renovated apartment of 150 m² with four separate bedrooms and high-quality box spring beds (usable as single or double beds) – ideal for large families or groups. After eventful days in the lake region of Holstein Switzerland, you can relax in the sauna on the balcony. The large dining area invites you to spend evenings together with raclette or a round of poker. In the house there is a bar that completes the day of vacation in a relaxed way. No parties in the apartment.

The Kavalierhaus is located opposite the stables and has a large garden with pavilion, surrounded by rhododendrons. The building has recently been lovingly restored. On the first floor is a spacious dining room, the kitchen with separate pantry, a study, a large living room with fireplace, two double bedrooms, each with a shower room en-suite, a guest toilet and the utility room. Upstairs are 7 double bedrooms and 1 single bedroom, as well as 4 bathrooms.

The apartment is located in a former farmstead in the quiet district of Kreuzfeld, only a 20-minute drive from the Baltic Sea beach (Haffkrug, Scharbeutz). Surrounded by lakes, nature and attractive excursion destinations such as Hansa Park (20 min), Eutin (10 min) and Lübeck (45 min). The high-quality and cozy apartment is well equipped – ideal for relaxing holidays in all weather. There is a private outdoor area with a charcoal grill available.

Our apartment is located in Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen in beautiful Holstein Switzerland, just 200 meters from Lake Dieksee and the Dieksee promenade. Here you can - whether as a couple or alone - enjoy the idyllic surrounding nature as well as a variety of leisure activities and relax from everyday life. The state capital of Kiel and the historic city of Lübeck are worth a trip. The Baltic Sea is 25 minutes away.
