Apartment vacation rentals in Decentralized Administration of Crete

Truly a great apartment! Fully matched the listing. It is spotless and everything has been thought of: tea, coffee, washing machine, you name it. It is in a quiet area, but at the bottom of the mountain there is a nice restaurant to enjoy the sunset. We had to mess with the jacuzzi for a while: it went on every hour in the middle of the night, but the host responded very quickly and was able to explain to us how to solve this. We had a lovely stay, I would recommend it to anyone.

Probably one of the most amazing places you’ll stay anywhere! The attention to detail when the unit was remodeled, and the furnishings and extras added to make your stay comfortable, are incredible. It is located right in the middle of a vibrant area full of outdoor restaurants, music, and shopping. The hosts are extremely responsive, we were late getting in but that was not a problem. During our stay we unfortunately encountered one of the red dust storms that Chania periodically receives, but they came the next day and cleaned the outer areas. We were lucky with the parking the first three nights, but for some reason the fourth night was a challenge however we did eventually find a garage about 15 minutes away. Also, I would not recommend the unit for younger children or someone unsteady on their feet as the stairs in the unit are quite steep especially to the roof, and there is no washing machine though a laundromat is just a few minutes walk. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved our stay and would definitely stay again! The apartment looks just like the photos and is really well maintained and immaculately clean. Plus they’ve also thought of everything, it’s really well equipped. The location is great, just a couple of minutes walk to all the old town restaurants and bars. Plus the rooftop is a real sun trap in the afternoon, we loved hanging out by the pool.

The apartment was very nice with a spectacular view. It was all within walking distance. And the hosts were super friendly and always available.

Niki and Cristos were really lovely and friendly hosts. Fresh flowers, homemade biscuits and cake, wine etc were provided and left in the apartment. The apartment was bright and clean. They treated us as family and really made us feel at home. Surrounded by the most amazing mountains. Beautiful people on beautiful Bali. What more could you ask for? Eif charisto! 10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

The appartment was perfect, great location with a balcony and view of the sea. Close to nice restaurants and a quiet area. About a 10mins walk to the busier nightlife area. Was also easy to find taxis at the main street behind the appartment. The aircon worked well, and the flat had kitchenette ideal for 2 people. A small shower but worked well and we didnt mind it being small seeing you only spend 3mins of your day in it. Thanos was great at check in and check out and personally welcomed us even late on a friday night. he showed us around the neighborhood and gave reccommendations which was a nice touch.A really comfortable stay. Would stay again if we come back one day!

We were very happy with the place. Emmanuel and his family were great hosts and cleaned the apartment every day, as well as changed the sheets and towels. We even received a small basket of fruit, wine and something salty. Very attentive. If you have any questions or comments, Emmanuel was always ready and responded quickly. The location is very nice and especially the view. However, the beach is a little further away than actually described, so we had to rent a car in between. With rental cars, you have several beaches in the immediate vicinity, so everything is quickly accessible. We would highly recommend the accommodation and would like to stay there again if we get the chance.

Beautiful living room, breathtaking views. Very welcoming and lovely hosts. The accommodation is clean, matches the photos. I recommend this rental! The restaurant down Gefsis street is EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend it. A vehicle is required to access the accommodation. A place I'd keep!

Stavros was fantastic, as was the history of this wonderful place. Rethymno was a beautiful town and we explored everywhere on foot. We decided on walking in the morning and then having a late lunch (each lunch was fantastic) and walking back up the hill to have a light supper on the deck at sunset. Beautiful and thank you so much for the care you put into your house to make it a wonderful experience.

This is a great appartment! It is quite large, bigger than the photos make it look. The hosts gave clear instructions on how to self check in and exit. The location is perfect with a nice view of the sea and ruins. There are several great restaurants a block away on the water and it is just a 10 minute walk to the main square with lots of shopping and more restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great little pad at Elafonisi, and pretty much the closest you can be to the beach - which is about 7 minutes walk from all the accommodation and town. Lovely and peaceful – even though it was central it was tucked away and felt remote. Could have been stocked a bit better - only enough for 1 1/2 coffees, no tea. Great fridge/freezer but no glasses or plates - though they delivered some when I asked. As it's a great spot to relax after your beach time. Would recommend.

We spent 14 wonderful days in Marilena's residence. From the first moment we felt very welcome. Marilena is not only incredibly hospitable and friendly, but also very sweet and nice to children. The place was sparkling clean and well cared for. The private pool was an absolute highlight: every morning it was carefully cleaned by Marilena herself. What we also really appreciated was that she came to clean the house in the interim, of course in consultation. Really top service! You can tell from everything that Marilena does this with love and has an eye for her guests. In short: a fantastic place to stay with a hostess who really makes a difference. We will definitely come back here!

We loved our four days in this lovely apartment in Rodovani! Manos met us when we arrived, left us an array of fruit, coffee, tea, bread, and other treats — and was a terrific and cheerful communicator during our stay.

It was just nice to vacation in the beautifully renovated old town house. Georgios was always available, even wanted to help us when we had an accident with the rental car. You live very privately and from the roof terrace you have a beautiful view, you can even watch the fishermen.

The place was very nice and as described. Daniela was very warm and helpful. We only lacked a little more cooking equipment, as we occasionally wanted to cook and were then somewhat limited with a pan. Basically, we can highly recommend the apartment and would be happy to come back. Thank you very much.

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

We had a really nice stay at this place! Very quiet, secluded location with a great private pool, large patio and superbly equipped apartment. Dimitrios was always immediately available and gave us great tips for the area. The nearest town with a beach is within walking distance, a supermarket and taverns are available there. We will be happy to come back! :)

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!
