Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Decentralized Administration of Attica

I have been using Airbnb for many years and my stay at Anna Maria's "Kourkoula House" was by far the best I've ever experienced. Not only is it a hidden gem (waking up just meters away from the Greek sea), but the kindness and warm hospitality of Anna Maria and her father were one of a kind. The house is easy to find as it's one of two private houses located on the main road before the fortified medieval village of Monemvasia, which is pedestrian. While it's right above the main road where there is indeed some passage, the terrace is full of vegetation and flowers and beautiful plants which almost perfectly conceal the vis a vis - all while offering the most magnficent sea views! A picture-perfect set up for a glass of wine at sundown... Anna Maria is extremely responsive and was very accomodating with our check-in/out. Her father and herself were simply put, one of the nicest hosts we've encountered. The photos are only but a glimpse of how beautiful and unique this place truly is!

We had a great few days relaxing on Agistri. Xanthi was there to meet us and everything was as expected. It’s a lovely little house and garden with everything you need, we enjoyed feeding the tortoises! We took the bus to Limenaria one day and explored the south of the island. Other than that we walked everywhere and took it easy on the terrace ( after Athens and Aegina a rest was welcome!). Great views from the two little churches up in the hills. A nice little beach just a few minutes walk away. We ate at Hotel Artemis just down the road and To Agistri in Skala - tables on the beach and a sunset. The bakery in Megalochori had good business from us, we tried all their pastries, baklava, spinach pie and the local bread!

Deze locatie was in alle opzichten geweldig en vinden we de allerbeste locatie die we tot nu toe tijdens drie Griekse vakanties hebben meegemaakt. Locatie, ruimte, voorzieningen in huis, communicatie etc. waren top. Daarnaast blonken Sofia, haar man en dochter Argiro uit in hun attentie naar ons in een goede balans met respect voor onze privacy.

We stayed a week and enjoyed our time at Thanos's house thoroughly. The house is older but has everything you need and the outdoor area with pool was a lifesaver on the hot days. The house is in a mountainous area and car is necessary to get around. Thanos was very responsive and had great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

Had a great stay at the apartment! Our stay was short and we definitely wished we stayed longer as the place was very beautiful and comfortable and felt like home! The host was very responsive and welcoming and helped us with anything extra we needed. Also one of the cleanest Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in! Will definitely be back!

We had a relaxing over night stay at Harris's beautiful home. The home's location had picturesque views of the water. Harris' communication was AMAZING and we were able to meet his parents who were absolutely lovely and welcoming. Home is comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Dina's home is absolutely stunning. It has everything we could possibly need. The views are breathtaking, and the host is incredibly kind. We truly wished our stay could have been extended. I noticed some comments regarding the stairs leading up to the house, but we have three little ones and had no difficulty navigating them; in fact, we found the walk quite pleasant. We took our time to soak in the scenery. Dina was even generous enough to allow us a later check-out since our ferry departure was scheduled for later on. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend Dina's house. Everything was simply perfect.

Nina’s house is truly charming and a delightful place to stay in Poros. Vangelis and Eleni are very warm and helpful. It’s very central in the old town, close to the beach, restaurants and the boats. I loved my time here and would definitely stay again.

Maria is a very friendly and helpful host. We felt like we were in our own home. The house met all our expectations. The balcony was very enjoyable. The washing machine was very easy and convenient to use. We really liked having an espresso capsule coffee machine in the kitchen and ready-to-use ice in the fridge. It will be our first choice for our next visit to the Voula area. Looking forward to seeing you again!

L’appartement à Hydra était très joli et typique de l’endroit,avec ses beaux murs de pierre. La vue de la fenêtre de l’appartement est spectaculaire. Le lit était très confortable et avait de la jolie literie. La cuisine et la salle de bain étaient fonctionnels et très propre. L’hôte réagit rapidement quand on lui envoie un message. J’ai eu un peu de difficulté à trouver l’endroit malgré les photos mais il faut comprendre que Hydra est composé de beaucoup de petites rues et d’escalier qui sont un peu surprenant la première fois. Mais des qu’on a réussi à se rendre,après,on comprend mieux comment les ruelles sont orientées. J’ai même trouvé de chemins alternatifs. En résumé,c’est un endroit exceptionnel que je recommanderai sans hésiter. Je vous remercie,Semeli. Je me souviendrai longtemps de mon séjour à Hydra.

The space exceeded my expectations - great view of the mountain, big terrace, comfortable bed and a very peaceful vibe. Argiris and Eleni were lovely hosts - they arranged for a donkey to pick me up, helped with my washing and treated me to baked goods. Had a wonderful stay!!

Το δωμάτιο (D1) ήταν πανέμορφο με εκπληκτική θέα στην θάλασσα. Ήταν όπως στις φωτογραφίες, ίσως και λίγο καλύτερο. Το κρεβάτι με την τζαμαρία και την θέα στην θάλασσα, το μπάνιο που είχε οπτική επαφή με τον χώρο του κρεβατιού, το τζακούζι στην τεράστια βεράντα με την μαγευτική θέα, με εντυπωσίασαν, και έδιναν μία αίσθηση πολυτέλειας. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα για ζευγάρια. Με το τζακούζι υπήρχε μόνο ένα πρόβλημα όταν φτάσαμε, αλλά μόλις ενημερώσαμε την ιδιοκτήτη μας εξυπηρέτησε αμέσως. Θα ξαναπάμε σίγουρα.

Excellent experience & amazing view and peaceful area. The host was very friendly, communication was very good and they were very understanding as I had my bridal preparation there. Definitely recommended!

Die Unterkunft liegt direkt an einem kleinen Hafen. Wir haben den Ausblick vom Balkon sehr genossen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber sehr schnell und einfach. Er hat uns sehr gute Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben.

Ein tolles Apartment für einen Urlaub in Porto Rafti - direkt im Hafen gelegen und an zwei Seiten von Wasser umgeben. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und wurde auch während meines mehrwöchigen Aufenthalts noch einmal von einer Putzkraft gereinigt, so dass ich mir um nichts Gedanken machen musste. Dimitris war ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Er war jederzeit erreichbar, wenn ich Fragen hatte und man merkt, dass er viel Energie in dieses Apartment gesteckt hat. Dies war mein vierter Urlaub in Porto Rafti und die schönste Wohnung, die ich bisher bewohnt hatte. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen 🙂

I can’t say enough about this spectacular apartment, its view, and location! Absolutely breathtaking! It’s right in the heart of everything you’d want to see about Ancient Greece in Athens! Short walking distance to the Acropolis and so much more. I would easily stay here again and highly recommend to others!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb in Athens! From the moment we arrived, our host was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. She struck the perfect balance of being available whenever we needed help, yet always respecting our privacy, something we truly appreciated. The apartment itself was stunning, tastefully decorated, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the pool, which we had the pleasure of enjoying throughout our stay. It felt like our own little oasis in the city. Another thoughtful touch was the welcome basket, such attention to detail! It was clear that a lot of care and consideration went into making our stay special. And a special thank you to our host for being so patient and kind when we (more than once!) forgot our keys. She never made us feel like a burden and always helped with a smile. This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t recommend it highly enough ❤️

Easy to walk to the Port if leaving on an early Ferry. Large spacious apartment. Kitchen was well equipped and bed was comfortable.

I can't imagine a better place to stay than this apartment in Athens! We will definitely stay again when we are in Athens. It beautifully designed, has all the amenities you need and then some and has the most beautiful balcony with a view of the Acropolis. Plus the host is so kind, helpful and responsive!! We are a family of 4 and it was perfect.

Φοβερή τοποθεσία με καταπληκτικό μπαλκόνι. όλα ήταν όπως στη. περιγραφή και τις φωτογραφίες. Μας υποδέχτηκε ο οικοδεσπότης στο λιμάνι και μάλιστα μετά το checkout μας παρείχε χώρο για φύλαξη αποσκευών. πιστεύω από τα πιο όμορφα σπίτια που μπορεί να μείνει κανείς στην Ύδρα. Τηρουμένων των αναλογιών και τξς γενικής ακριβείας στο νησί, τιμή ειναι καλή.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay just outside Porto Heli. Ornella met us on the first day and showed us the way in from the village, or else we’d possibly never have found it! She was incredibly welcoming and the apartment was as expected and described- what a stunningly peaceful location with all the amenities one needs and beautifully kept gardens. Thank you, we had a lovely stay!

This is a beautiful apartment with awesome view of the sea. Very spacious living room and gorgeous balcony. The facilities are quite user friendly. We got everything we need for travel lodge. The location is close to the beach. Good place to talk a little walk. It's also a very nice neighborhood for quality dining and grocery shopping. Transportation is convenient. Take 10-15 minutes taxi drive to Akropoly and Piraeus habor. We would highly recommend this one!

Prefect location. Walkable to all sights and attractions. Streets are busy but like any large city it is the best and easiest way to get around. The apartment was amazing. Balcony pictures on listing do not do any justice to standing outside or in jacuzzi. Tax and yannis were extremely Helpful assisting with rides to and from the port/airport as well as tons of local recommendations!
