We have basic power back up for lighting in each room. The bedrooms have wood panelling on the walls that are traditional to Kashmir, yet give the inside a hut like look. The property is within Brein area of Nishat, considered to be a safe and upscale area of Srinagar. A walk to the Dal would take you 6 minutes.

We have booked Najir Ji's place for our last day but due to Jammu Srinagar highway landslide we need to cancel our return plan and reschedule after 3 days, at that time the boat was full but as we expressed to extend our stay ,Najir ji and his son arranged everything very responsibly to ensure that we need not face any issue.His place is cozy, neat and peaceful and food was homely and outstanding .We found it the most safe and serene place in Srinagar,I would recommend everyone to spend all days in Srinagar in this place to enjoy the peaceful sight of Dal lake.I wish Najir Ji to flurish in his business.

Convenient location, recommended great hikes. Exceptional hospitality and care. Highly recommend! Beyond the physical beauty of the homestay, it was the human element that truly stood out. Aijaz and his dedicated staff were the epitome of Kashmiri hospitality. Their smiles were genuine, their service was attentive yet unobtrusive, and they went above and beyond to cater to our needs. What truly touched us was Aijaz's integrity and empathy. Understanding that our original itinerary was significantly impacted by the unforeseen circumstances, he was courteous enough to offer a refund for the unused nights of our reservation without any prompting. This gesture of goodwill was deeply appreciated and spoke volumes about his ethical approach to hosting

Great stay and the surroundings are fantastic and peaceful with lot of greenary. Easily accessible from dal lake at the same time so calm. Electric blankets and portable heaters are provided. Rooms are cleaned everyday. Host Parveez is very responsive and he stays right nearby. So whenever we inform an issue he'll reach there right away and rectify it. Highly recommended!!!

We had a memorable stay at Dream House. Waking up to the Birds chirping over beautiful vast garden located in Paradise on Earth. Impressed with the Benevolent Hospitality of Dr Willayat's family for our ensuring pleasant stay. My gratitude to Javed bhai, who cooked tasty Jain food for us and even extended his service to cook for us when we got delayed and reached late at night. Willayat-ji meticulously took care of arranging sightseeing itinerary and providing the best cab/guide service that was no less than a VIP experience. We also had a wonderful conversation over a cup of coffee in his garden on Life, family, marriage, relationships, the culture, our younger days and the magic of the greater power who created favourable weather conditions for our effortless stay and sightseeing. We are lucky to meet such warm hearted people that makes our vacations indeed memorable. Thanks a lot Willayat-ji for taking care of our family during our short pleasant stay.

Imran Bhai kindly accommodated our last-minute booking, and Rameez Bhai stayed in touch throughout our stay. Aqeel Bhai truly exemplifies Kashmiri hospitality. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel right at home, offering valuable suggestions for places to visit and even helping us plan our itinerary. His warmth and attention to detail made all the difference in our stay. The food deserves special mention—Bhabhi’s Rogan Josh is an absolute must-try! Every dish we tried was delicious, authentic, and surprisingly affordable. The location is unbeatable, right opposite Dal Lake, offering stunning views. We visited during Chillai Kalan when temperatures dipped to -6°C, but the hosts ensured our comfort with ample heating and all necessary amenities. This BnB truly sets the standard for hospitality, you simply cannot go wrong. Go for it. 10/10

Our stay at Anshika’s place was very comfortable. It is a beautiful, clean and quiet place. Caretaker Javed and chef are equally perfect. All thanks to Anshika.
