Holly was a great person to work with. She made everything super easy when our vacation dates got changed unexpectedly. Anything we had to talk about she answered right away. Our place was home away from home. Very peaceful and relaxing, the kids enjoyed fishing in the river behind the house!! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!!!

Maureen was flexible with us checking in 2hrs early. The house was clean! We got to explore the area, not much to do, but it was peaceful. Be sure to check out the trail by the COA! It was beautiful! The big fenced yard was a great addition for we had our dog with us. The pool was an added bonus! However, there was no “active pool cleaner” and there were a lot of bugs and dirt from the trees on the water—which was understandable. Other than that, everything was great! Felt right at home! Thank you for hosting us, Maureen!!

Nature lover’s paradise on the Pasquotank river!

So clean, so peaceful, so unique! I’ve never stayed in a rental above a barn. The experience didn’t disappoint! The downstairs neighbors were adorable. We loved petting Misty and the donkeys each day. Our rental was so clean and comfortable. It is exactly as pictured. We brought bikes and paddle boards and we are so glad we did. The community is beautiful and flat so it was a lovely bike ride each night for me and my daughters. The golf cart was awesome to have for our daily treks to the waterfront. We swam, paddled, napped, sun bathed, and star gazed. Each night we played games and watched movies. We also spent an afternoon in nearby Elizabeth City shopping at small businesses. We were quite busy but could have easily had a slower paced trip and been just as happy. This is rental has so much to offer, even a blimp hanger next door!

Great place and location. Very nicely decorated space that was relaxing and clean. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable bed. The welcome bottle of wine was a nice surprise as we arrived after a long drive and enjoyed a glass before walking to dinner in town. We would stay here again and recommend to others. Thank you Emily for offering such a wonderful place to stay in Elizabeth City!
