Cabin vacation rentals in County Waterford

We stayed for 2 nights with friends and we all had an amazing time. Mary couldn’t have been more helpful when we’re checking in. The cabin itself is really cosy and a lovely spot to stay in. Beds were extremely comfy and the bathroom was spacious. It was great that you have the hot tub right outside the door and loads of privacy. Would highly recommend to others. We’ll definitely be back in the future. Amy & Chris.

it was a brilliant cabin and exceeded expectations

Teresa, was absolutely amazing to deal with so friendly and helpful. The place has absolutely everything we needed Teresa went above and beyond with everything you could think of. The place was so lovely and private, being pet friendly was such a bonus for us too. Incrediblely peaceful spot for an escape will have to go back.

Stayed with my partner for a night and had a nice relaxing peaceful time. Outdoor hot tub is a lovely extra to have. Very clean inside and out would definetly stay again

Very good communication throughout, this was a wonderful stay. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the eco-cabin was brilliant. The kids had an amazing time, was very magical staying in "the woods". Extremely easy to get to the greenway and having the beautiful gardens to walk around was great. We ate out as, even though there is a kitchen with a lot of pots, pans, utilities, there isn't enough space to cook, unless it was for the microwave. Would definitely recommend!

i arrived beside myself with stress but Jenny and her place are just the cure for that. She is a mega host. Before i left i was already contacting friends to recommend an escape to the shepherd’s hut. read the description as it is camping style. but what you give up in some conveniences you more than get back in beauty, peace, and joy. she strikes a great balance between leaving you alone and including you in leisure activities. i used the stay as a cheap access point to cork but would recommend it as its own destination. i brought an extra blanket but im pretty sure if i had not she would have had one as the place is equiped beyond what i expect at that price

Booked last minute. Communication straight away. Very helpful in helping us settle in and provided us with what we needed. Dog latch available. Cabin had everything we needed. Hot water, heat, TV and fridge to cool our drinks. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a few days of peace and quiet.

Lovely little cottage close to the beach. You have everything you need and it’s only a few minutes to the beach or to beautiful walks. For more culture, Waterford was just around the corner. Mary Sue was always available and had recommendations for the area. The AirBnb was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and paintings. All in all a lovely place to stay at.

What a wonderful gem! Loved how remote it was and had everything you needed for a relaxing and tranquil stay in the country. Definitely recommend getting a car to explore all the local areas. The cabin is beautifully decorated and the views are stunning! Thank you so much 😊

It was a lovely stay, thank you Jenny for being so accommodating and kind. We loved the dogs, the animals and the peace and calm surrendings. We slept really well and we are hoping to come back again.

Had such a relaxing, and enjoyable stay at Jacqui's cabin over the weekend. Her in-laws nearby, were just so warm, wonderful and friendly, and could not have been more kind and accommodating. Always so helpful, offering to sort any questions or to give local recommendations. Couldn't recommend more highly, the location, its beauty and all round community, - so close to many beautiful beaches, the greenway and the many fabulous fresh seafood restaurants. Looking forward to my return visit already!! :)

Thanks for having us at your humble abode. It was peaceful, clean and we were even greeted by a couple sheep at one point. Great spot for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A relaxing place and exceptional hospitality.

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Peter’s cottage! Peter was a gracious host, met us to get checked in and share info on the cottage as well as recommendations in/around Youghal. We arrived to everything we needed for breakfast the next day, bottle of wine and other beverages, and beautiful flowers. The view is spectacular, walking along the boardwalk is peaceful, and restaurants, pubs, boutiques enjoyable. Highly recommend Peter’s cottage!

Morgan is a gem of a host! We all slept great and enjoyed our stay here! Would recommend to anyone!

a beautiful relaxing spot

Shane’s home was so lovely and everything you see in the pics was exactly how it was. The pathway leading up to the house was also lovely and plenty of privacy. There were a few reviews talking about the noise outside but I personally found it extremely quiet at night. If you ever need anything, Shane was very quick to respond. If you’re into hiking would recommend the Coumshingaun Lough loop although it’s quite advanced so be prepared, bring your hiking boots and plenty of water. It was so easy to get in and out of the city and Shane will provide all the best restaurants and pubs (and was helpful when he let us know closing days!). All in all, highly recommend and have already convinced my friends for future stays :)
