We had a fantastic stay! Communication with the hosts was smooth and prompt from start to finish. The home is located in a peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing getaway, yet still conveniently close to Galway by car. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel truly welcome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet retreat. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My 2 weeks in Cong at John Joe’s apartment were more than wonderful. The upstairs apartment had everything I needed plus more to be comfy and cozy. John Joe is a generous host, at the ready to provide whatever I needed. He is a gentleman and as a long resident of Cong widely known and highly respected in the village. He is a lovely man whose kindness infused my experience. I had a deeply happy time in Cong and the charm and aesthetic of John Joe’s airbnb apartment made my time there one that is already among my most treasured destinations - an experience of a lifetime. Great place, hosts are very welcoming and responsive. Couldn't ask for a better location, even the neighbours are very friendly. Nothing to say price wise because well accommodation is not cheap in Ireland, it is to be expected but for the comfort (place and location) we had compared to other places this was a sure bet.

My husband stayed with his elderly dad and father-in-law. Here’s their review. Niambh was fantastic. She was there if we needed her and was always lovely to talk to and gave great recommendations. We had a wonderful week staying in Flaherty’s Cottage, it is a really magical place. Our host was lovely and welcoming and very kind and helpful and we had everything we needed. The cottage is well equipped, very clean and comfortable with a homely feel. The setting is stunning with beautiful nearby sandy beaches, wildflowers and wildlife all around, perfect for peace and quiet, bird watching and walks and beautiful places to explore. Nearby Clifden has lots of places to eat out, cafes, shops and plenty of pubs with traditional live music. We are so grateful to have stayed at Flaherty’s Cottage and look forward to retuning again someday soon, thank you.

Gorgeous 2 bed lodge located alongside owners main house but private. V modern, clean with lovely bathrooms x 2. Comfortable beds & Geraldine left filtered water, homemade brown bread, butter/jam & a bottle of wine for us. Lovely forest with walks right at the front door. A folder with tips and local attractions was also there which was helpful. We visited Cliffs Of Moher & Doolin one day. Ate in Linnane’s another evening, delicious seafood. Morans looked lovely with nice setting. Located 25 mins from Galway city but we spent our time mainly in Clare.

Traveling with my two kids across the country, this cottage was an absolute dream to arrive to. From the moment we arrived, the little ones raced straight for the bunk room. The safety rails made them feel secure, and my older boy couldn’t get enough of the cozy couch tucked under the loft bunk. He set up “camp” there and played happily for hours while my husband and I enjoyed some plump, briny oysters we’d picked up in Clarinbridge (there’s a great little French patisserie there too). The views are spectacular—pinks, oranges, and blues shifting as the sun moves across the bay. The house sits between two fields, so in the afternoons, we cranked up the music and danced around the kitchen. It felt like a proper escape. The locals were incredibly friendly, and having an EV charger at the cottage made things even easier. Our loft bedroom was definitely compact, but the king sized bed was ridiculously comfy! There’s so much charm in this oceanfront haven! Can’t wait to go back!

The Eagle Cottage is the PERFECT getaway Airbnb! My wife and I stayed here for our wedding in Galway. It is the most beautiful, quaint, and quiet location. The surrounding farms, forest, and mountains make for an incredible backdrop as the property sits right on a lake. The property is secured with a gate and long driveway away from the main road. The main house is beautiful and spacious, while the guest house is quaint with a beautiful lookout over the lake. It has plenty of room for our family to stay, while also room for our photographer and makeup artist. Stunning location for a first look and wedding photos, while also being extremely close to beautiful Ireland spots for photos. The cottage is also only 45 minutes away from Galway making it easy it get in and out of the city. Highly, highly recommend the Eagle Cottage!! Sarah was extremely quick to answer and extremely helpful!

What a wonderful place—so spacious, clean, quaint, peaceful. Carola seems to have thought of everything with thoughtful instructions and tips on labels posted around the place. Loved the decor and everything was comfy. We stayed in 8 different places in our trip around Ireland and this one was in everyone’s top 2–my son’s favorite! My husband said he could live there. Would absolutely stay again! Just a couple notes: there’s a unit upstairs, but it still felt very private. There are 2 washers and 1 dryer in a shared utility room off the kitchen—the sharing part wasn’t an issue as the lovely woman staying upstairs was from Kerry and wasn’t doing laundry, but it could potentially be an issue since the dryer isn’t as high-powered as US varieties. Also, there are several ice trays in the freezer, appreciated by this chilly drink loving American. The area/home is very peaceful and we would have loved to have stayed longer, but very much enjoyed a mellow couple of nights in Kinvara.

Have been staying and working in this area for a few weeks and so this apartment is perfect. It’s really clean and private, with easy check in and everything you could need. The host is communicative and quick to reply to queries. Would recommend a stay here! ☺️

This is one of the loveliest places we have stayed. Spacious, clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location with a kind, friendly, communicative, helpful host. Nothing could be better.

We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. The location was beautiful, it was incredibly spacious! It was spotlessly clean and the host was very helpful, and really took time to think of all the little details to make the stay comfortable. I would just say to be aware that others are renting the main house below you. You have your own door to lock so it’s not uncomfortable, but you do enter the same front door as them. And if you want to use the laundry you need to walk around back and enter the house from the back ; so it is possible that the other family is outside or can see you from the dining area. It didn’t bother us , but the other family staying there wasn’t aware we would be there, so just thought it worth mentioning. But we loved the stay!

Gráinne’s place was stunning and so peaceful! The views of the lake and the farm were gorgeous. It was a quick drive to Oughterard and had some yummy food at the local pub. The baby foul was so sweet as well! Gráinne was very responsive and had a list of recommendations for us. We really enjoyed our time here!

We had a lovely stay in the apartment hosted by Brendan & Christina. They were very responsive in the lead up to the stay, sending lots of updates and suggestions on things to do and places to eat. They also were very flexible around check in times and clear on where to park. The apartment was spotless and had loads of supplies, including a curling iron & hairdryer which one of my friends was delighted to find. The location was perfect for walking into Salthill, and exploring all around us there. Value for money was great and I’d really recommend this apartment.
