Lovely place a few minutes walk to a handful of great pubs and restaurants. Apartment was clean and well stocked with extra towels, etc. Great communication from Fiona prior to our stay which included lots of useful suggestions on things to do and places to see in the area.

We had a great time at Máirín’s place - it’s located in a lovely area and had all the amenities. The apartment is well equipped for cooking your own meals, and there’s a pub nearby. The location is good for exploring Connemara, we have enjoyed our stay very much!

Clonbur House - Studio village apartment

NehaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I stayed for 4 nights at Hugh’s place and had a lovely experience. The house was comfortable, and its location was excellent, Centra was just a short walk away, the village was charming, and a scenic walking trail started just 5 minutes from the house near the park. Connemara National Park was only about an hour’s drive, which made for a great day trip. Hugh is a very kind and thoughtful host. On the last day, He let us hold a lamb in our arms and take some pictures with it, My kids were absolutely delighted and it was a memorable moment for all of us. Overall, we had a great time and would happily recommend this place for a peaceful and family-friendly stay close to nature.

Me, my cousin and his two young sons stayed at Gail and Antoine's house in Garmna, right in the middle of the islands in Connemara. We had a warm welcome from the first day not only from Gail and Antoine but also from their neighbors. The house was veryclean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The bedrooms were to a high standard and the place was veryconvenient for the fishery, our reason for coming. Antoine was extremely generous with his time and advice. We loved the pool table in the evening. The atmosphere was always relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend anyone who would like a trulyIrish experience in beautiful Connemara. We will undoubtedly be back!

Beautiful one bed apartment in excellent location

Catherine C.Rating, 5 stars1 month ago
I was looking for a quiet and yet beautiful spot to relax . Matthew's place was above and beyond my expectations. I was arriving on my own in Spiddal for the first time and a bit worried about finding the apartment and getting in. Matthew gave me detailed information and pictures of entering the apartment.. It couldn't have been easier!! And so secure. The apartment itself is beautiful. I felt so at home. The views and walks are hard to describe in words, so lovely. People in Spiddal are extremely welcoming. Groceries, pubs and the bus are a few steps away. In a few words, I can't wait to go back and definitely hope I can stay at the apartment. My home away from home. Thanks Matthew!!

Zahra was incredibly helpful throughout our stay, especially with fantastic restaurant recommendations. Her home was spotless, warm, and perfectly located—just minutes from Galway’s top attractions, restaurants, and sightseeing spots. We did run into an issue with parking. Although street parking is advertised as free after 6:30 p.m., we unfortunately received a boot and a hefty €125 fine for parking between 7:00 and 7:20 p.m. When we reached out to Zahra, she was quick to assist and directed us to the official Galway website, which also confirmed free parking after 6:30 p.m. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to file a claim with the county and are now awaiting a resolution. Thank you, Zahra, for being so responsive and supportive—we truly appreciated your help and hospitality!

I felt right at home in this beautiful, cosy, picturesque AirB&B with a beautiful garden. The attention to detail was exceptional. On arrival the radio was playing, the heating was on and there were some lovely homemade scones along with a welcome note layed out on the breakfast bar. This created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The garden and small patio create a private and beautiful space to relax and unwind in. Especially at this time of year with the flowers in full bloom and the birds singing. You have everything you could possibly need, Michelle has thought of everything, and the town is within walking distance. Plus the soap in the bathroom is a real luxury and smells so nice. Michelle is a lovely, kind and considerate host, she's easily reachable and truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a pleasant stay. I highly recommend this AirB&B

I had a wonderful stay! It was a quick drive to the Cliff’s of Moher where I was able to go for Sunset and Sunrise. The rolling hills and cows right outside the place made for a relaxing and unique stay that I would highly recommend. I wish it had been longer but it was perfect for my stop to see the cliffs and enjoy some local towns.

We had a lovely stay at Martina’s apartment adjacent to her home. Very easy access and able to come and go as we pleased. The location was great for us as we were visiting family nearby. The apartment suited us perfectly. There were 3 of us so the double bedroom and double sofabed in the lounge was fine. Separate loo/shower room off a hallway so accesible to all at night without disturbing others. The Lounge with fine with great range of books on Irish History and Geography as well as general reading and of course TV. The garden had a lovely wide view over the countryside and lovely places to sit in the garden to read or chill and just relax. It’s near - maybe 10 mins drive - Historic Abbey Knockmoy and there is a very decent petrol station/ supermarket there with take-away food available altho the kitchen at the property is fully equipped if needed. There are lovely local bars in Abbey and towns of Athenry and Tuam are in easy reach. Martina and her husband were most welcoming!
