Redwood Retreat at Lala Land is a place of peace & restoration. Perfect getaway from the city or stop-over along the coast. Set back from the town of Gualala, nestled among 10 private acres of coastal redwoods. Private deck faces the ocean, ideal for sunrise or sunset while sipping your favorite beverage in the hot tub, or stargazing free from lights. Located on the ridge above Highway 1, Redwood Retreat faces the Southern sky & is often sunny, warm, and wind-free compared to surrounding areas.

Woodhaven

Woodhaven is located on Pegasus Farm. This is a rustic country setting, clean, with lots of charm. Fully equipped kitchen, a loft a with double bed, a double bed downstairs, electric heater and a wood heat stove. This beautiful structure is loaded with exotic redwood, a maple floor and stone accents. Built and furnished with recycled and reclaimed materials. The owners live in the beige farm house, there are two small cabins in the garden that we rent nightly, and there is a communal fire ring .

Cozy Redwood Cottage Near the Mendocino Coast

Our peaceful cottage is nestled among the redwoods, a few miles inland from the Mendocino Coast. High ceilings and skylights make this space feel spacious, offering natural light, and views of the majestic trees. The surrounding community is special, with many residents having lived here for decades, tending their homesteads. On your way in, you are likely to see cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. Deer, coyote, foxes, mountain lions, owls, hawks, vultures, and bears also frequent the area.

Tiny Cabin in the Redwoods

This tiny cabin is surrounded by trees, trees and more trees! Soak in the claw foot tub while gazing out at a redwood forest. The bottom floor of the cabin has a small sleeper sofa, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker (not a full kitchen). The bed is in a loft space on the second floor up a steep ladder and there is efficient heating. The fire pit can be used in low fire season only. *please note we also have a glamping space in near proximity. Dog on property, please be pet friendly.

Lavender rows blooming below the paddock fence fragrant the air during the summer months and available for harvesting. Outdoor seating to enjoy the mornings, a little ocean view and sunsets. The Navarro Beach estuary is just a few miles away for walking or wading. No Wifi creating a true country experience which we think you'll enjoy offering solitude, disconnecting and reinventing.

Let yourself unwind in the gorgeous coastal lands of Mendocino as you're tucked away in a spacious loft apartment made for relaxation. We’ve designed a large studio space with fluffy linens, handmade textiles, and natural touches to delight you. Walking distance to the beach, sunset views, a restaurant and store--it's a perfectly-situated restful nook on the coast. If you love a clawfoot tub, this place is for you (there is a comically-short shower intended only as a backup).

It’s located on a 20-acre property, with a full kitchen, bedroom, shower & bathroom. Sorry no pets Down the road, you can hike or bike alongside Big River, where sea lions, birds & other wildlife are plentiful. Wake up to a morning Nespresso with frothed creamer, while listening to the sounds of nature.
