Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Comporta

Wir haben uns bei Bruno und Rita sehr wohl gefühlt. Die beiden haben immer sehr schnell auf Nachrichten reagiert und waren auch persönlich sehr sympathisch. Sie haben uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Das Haus und besonders der Ausblick vom einen Schlafzimmer ist ein Traum - jede Nacht das Wellenrauschen zu hören, war einfach wundervoll. Die Küche hat auch alles, was man braucht. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt!

Paulo was quick to respond to my communications. The villa was beautiful with lots of extras to enjoy a home from home. We loved the peacefulness of the garden & the birdsong . My iPhone would not direct me to the address & I discovered that if you use maps to direct you to Camping Fetais, you are very close to the road leading to the home.

Excelente estadia! A casa é muito agradável, ainda melhor do que as fotografias transmitem. O Pedro e o Pai, Sr Manuel, são anfitriões muito simpáticos e muito atenciosos. O Sr Manuel que nos recebeu e até nos deixou no dia seguinte de manhã um pão maravilhoso para o pequeno-almoço. A casa fica num sítio muito calmo e muito silencioso, completamente equipada com tudo o que precisamos. Camas confortáveis. Todas as janelas têm redes mosquiteiras e portadas. Num fim-de-semana de extremo calor esteve sempre fresca. Durante o dia o espaço exterior junto da piscina com espreguiçadeiras, chapéu e uma zona de pérgula para refeições é perfeito. Pela manhã e à noite (com uma vela de citronela e algum repelente) a zona da pérgula floral na frente da casa foi tudo o que precisámos para aproveitar o fim-de-semana. Está a 40 minutos das praias de Melides, Aberta Nova, Pego e Carvalhal, e a 10 minutos de Alcácer do Sal onde existe tudo o que podemos precisar, restaurantes e supermercados.

Cute and cozy yet spacious home, with a nice yard, next to cute little village of Comporta. Kitchen had what we needed for us to comfortably prepare meals, and house already had basic bathroom and kitchen supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, shampoo/bodywash, etc.), plus a bottle of wine which was very nice! Area is very quiet, calm, and great for families. Pool was clean and spacious, never felt too busy. Small grocery store inside the complex was reasonably priced and very practical. The nearest beach is beautiful, but a 30 min walk (with kids), including a stretch on a major road, so not practical. It was a 5 min drive but parking filled quickly. The village of Comporta is cute but small and was busy, but other options for restaurants just a short drive (within 10-20 min) away, and many other beaches to explore along the coast. Overall, Carla was a great host and we enjoyed our stay.

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa! A casa é extremamente acolhedora, confortável e decorada com muito bom gosto, com todos os itens que precisávamos para nos sentirmos em casa. A zona exterior e a piscina são fantásticas e ainda fomos surpreendidos com um miminho de boas-vindas, que fez toda a diferença. Recomendo vivamente e espero voltar em breve!

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

Wir haben mit 2 Familien eine Woche in Daniel's Haus verbracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus und Grundstück sind nicht nur groß, sondern auch schon eingerichtet bzw. angelegt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und mit beheiztem Pool, neuem Kicker, Yogamatten, der Tischtennisplatte und dem Grill gibt es auch ohne Ausflüge viel zu tun. Aber angesichts der schönen, ruhigen Natur (ab und zu nerven das Hundegebell etwas) in unmittelbarer Umgebung und den vielseitigen Strände (im Westen mit Wellen, bei Sesimbra ruhig karibisch, allerdings kalt:-)) wäre es schade, auf Ausflüge zu verzichten. Man braucht allerdings einen Mietwagen und Einkaufsgelegenheiten sind etwas weiter weg (bis den den kleinen Shop im Ort, der Essentials anbietet). Wir würden das Haus definitiv nochmal buchen.

vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt in Lissabon in einer sehr schönen Wohnung mit bequemen Masterbett, toller Aussicht vom Balkon mit wunderbarem Weitblick. Tolle Küche, spannende Möbel mit Geschichte. Im fensterlosen, kleinen Bad wird es schnell sehr stickig, aber dennoch toll ausgestattet für die Größe.

Heel mooi verblijf met prachtig uitzicht. Super fijn vriendinnen weekend gehad! Alles op loopafstand en het appartement was schoon.

Lage: Hervorragend gelegen für wunderschöne Spaziergänge entlang der Küste. Ansonsten gelangt man auch mit dem Auto recht schnell nach Ericeira im Norden und Cascais im Süden. Der Sintra-Nationalpark lädt ebenfalls zu herrlichen Wanderungen ein. Wohnung: Top Wohnung, die hervorragend ausgestattet ist, allerdings etwas kleiner als auf den Bildern (für 4 Erwachsene wahrscheinlich zu klein, fur eine Familie mit 2 kleineren Kindern top). Sara: Einfach top!!! Super einfache Kommunikation und stets hilfsbereit. Remote Work: Wir haben von dort remote gearbeitet. Sara hat uns auf Nachfrage einen kleinen Schreibtisch zur Verfügung gestellt, sodass wir in separaten Zimmern arbeiten und Meetings halten konnten. Gute und stabile Internetverbindung. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die von dort remote arbeiten möchten. Fazit: Top, aber zugegebenermaßen nicht die günstigste Unterkunft in der Region.

Artur was an incredible host and we loved our stay at his beautiful home! He went above and beyond to provide recommendations, flexible check in and luggage storage options, and a thoughtful welcome gift for our group. Him and his family were proactive and responsive in communicating, which made our stay a breeze. The apartment is comfortable, clean, bright, large, and great for a group (especially with its beautiful patio). The location was convenient and walkable to many of the tourist sites, and accessible via metro and tram as well. I highly recommend Artur’s home for anyone hoping to explore Lisbon!

beautiful, spacious apartment in great location. added bonus of an outside terrace to relax after a busy day. very close to train station where hop on/off buses and tuk tuks will take you to all the sights. trains make it a little noisy, but worth it for the location. plenty cafes and restaurants around

A estadia foi excelente! O local é tranquilo, agradável, limpo e muito bonito, ideal para descansar. A hóspede foi extremamente educada e solícita durante toda a experiência. Recomendo com certeza e voltaria outras vezes!

My partner and I started at Ricky and Diana’s for four nights and we had a lovely stay. They were very responsive and always available to answer any questions and queries. Check in was smooth and well described. The area itself of the place was well located and in close proximity to a number of restaurants and bars, as well as popular attractions such as the National Pantheon and Feira de Ladra. Our hosts did let us know beforehand of the festivities that took place each night so of course whilst it was noisy, we appreciated the heads up. We also really appreciated the port left to us and a bottle of wine which was a really nice touch. Thank you Ricky & Diana!

Gorgeous villa with stunning views! We had a multigenerational family vacation here and everyone loved the place. All the rooms are larger that they look in photos. If you go in the spring, expect a mix of mostly stormy and some sunny days. In rainy days we focused on museums in Lisbon. Sunny days were stunning in the villa. So glad this beautiful home is preserved and enjoyed by many people!

We enjoyed our stay at Eduardo's place very much. The house was just as described in the AirBnb ad. The house is spacious for 10 persons, a well equipped kitchen. One can see that it is also used by the family wich we found very nice and personal, cosy. As it was so early in the season, the house was a bit humid after the winter, but there were radiators to take care of that. Not too far from the village Azetao but the surroundings were fantastic! The national park is so beautiful. The house was also very private and clean.

We just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The house is multi-level with several dining areas both inside and out. Well stocked kitchen and modern appliances. Beds are comfy, hot water is plentiful with great pressure. Forest views to the ocean. My husband spent hours walking through the cork forest. Complete tranquility and peace. Incredibly beautiful sand beaches 30 minutes away. The host is very responsive and helpful with many suggestions for activities in the area, complete with Google map links. Although it was just the two of us, the house is perfect for families. We dream of returning for a longer stay.

An idyllic place to spend a week with close friends. The house was made for both relaxing in gorgeous spaces and easy exploration of the area. Meal prep for a large crowd was a breeze in the well equipped kitchen. There is a great market close by and there are several restaurants within a short distance from the house. João was an incredible host, checking in a few times to make sure we were comfortable and well supplied. We felt fortunate to have landed in such a wonderful place. Thank you João!

We had a wonderful time in Comporta! Marjolaine’s house was the perfect spot for our group: two families of four plus a set of grandparents. The property is beautifully set up and was a fun place for the kids' Easter egg hunt. We really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was, plenty of glassware, plates, and everything we needed to enjoy multiple meals at home each day. Comporta itself is a charming little village, and the 3-mile walks through the rice fields to the beach were a highlight. And of course, a trip/mulriple to Gulato for ice cream were a hit with everyone. Highly recommend this home for a relaxing and memorable stay!

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

Wir waren insgesamt einen Monat in der Villa und hatten einen sehr schönen und angenehmen Aufenthalt in Grandola! Das Haus ist sehr neu, die Natur umwerfend schön und Maria ist eine tolle und freundliche Gastgeberin. Einmal die Woche kam außerdem jemand, um den Pool zu reinigen. Die Strände in der Nähe sind ebenfalls wunderschön und wenn man etwas Ruhe in der Natur sucht ist man hier genau richtig. eine kleine Anmerkung ist, dass das WLAN und der Empfang dort nicht sehr gut funktioniert hat, dieses Problem konnten wir allerdings mit einem zusätzlichen Router, den wir selber mitgebracht haben größtenteils gut umgehen. Alles in einem hatten wir einen tollen Aufenthalt in Grandola und würden jederzeit wiederkommen
