Cottage vacation rentals in Cloverdale

We’re very familiar with the surrounding area and this home is classic to the Russian River vibe. It’s easy to access Jenner Highland preserve, Armstrong woods and river activities. We found the listing to be accurate and very clean. We did not access the small secondary building but appreciated the hot tub. We also were glad we left our dog at home as there is no grass on the property and several stairs to navigate. It would certainly work for some dogs, but not ours was quite large. We did appreciate David’s immediate response to our request to edit our reservation when we decided not to bring our dog; excellent communication!

Awesome, quirky, and cute. Hot tub is nice, as is the whole seating area out there. If you are a fan of creative spaces, different styles of stays, and don’t need or do fancy, this place is ideal. It is creaky and if you are over six feet tall you’ll have to duck at one spot, but that stuff adds to the cute factor not subtract. Good spot

This is such a beautiful home. The special details that Cheryl provided elevated the experience into more than just a place to stay. We felt like welcomed old friends. Cheryl left us fresh eggs, bagels, and freshly squeezed orange juice from the property’s orange trees. The gourmet kitchen is a cook’s dream. The beds were comfy, and we had plenty of space. The location is terrific, the grounds are beautifully landscaped, and we felt completely at home.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage! The hosts, Lynn and John, were friendly and welcoming. We brought our baby and they left out a booster seat, child plates/bowls, toys, and made up the crib for him! We were able to do a barrel tasting, which was fantastic! We loved the hot tub and the garden. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the corn hole and fire pit! Will have to come back!

This was our second time staying at Red Door Retreat and we had another great visit. As before everything was exactly as pictured and described. Checkin was very smooth and communication with Brett was great. We particularly enjoyed the several nice outdoor spaces and the hot tub. Quiet setting but short drive to local attractions and Guerneville town center. Highly recommended!

We just completed a lovely stay at Emily's place -- the home is on a very quiet road, spacious, well-appointed, and the decor is a great match for the environment. One bedroom with adjoining bathroom is on the ground floor and the other is on the second floor, making it perfect for two couples -- plus there's a bonus bunkbed in the front room for kids. The outdoor space, surrounded by redwoods, has several seating areas with a nice hot tub (seats 4). The neighbors were all very welcoming and nice, we felt right at home in the area. We've been coming up to Russian River for about 20 years and had never heard of this small community, it was wonderfully off the beaten path yet close to everything! There is also secluded and well-maintained neighborhood beach which was great for sunbathing / kayak launching. Emily had alerted us that map apps weren't reliable for the area and sent a pinned location -- definitely use it and pre-load an area map, especially if you'll be arriving in the dark.

Our second time renting from Tom but first time to this location. We had an amazing experience! The location is stunning and the house is cozy with everything you need. We used the gas grill and hot tub, both were easy to use and clean. Tom and his partners were super responsive and lovely to communicate with. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Our stay was lovely! The beds and linens were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The entire home was well stocked and it felt like a second personal home in terms of the quality of items - sharp knives, well stocked pantry for cooking basics, foil, etc. We brought two dogs and it was a paradise for them. The outdoor area is truly magical. The fire pit is great, the downstairs dog shower is handy, and the landscaping is sublime.

Our group of three stayed here for a night to enjoy a vineyard experience before making our way to Yosemite. The cottage was clean and well maintained and the hosts were extremely responsive.

We had a great super last-minute stay at Chad's place! Chad saved our ill-fated camping trip to the coast (we were defeated by 35 mph winds at 7:30 pm) - he got back to us within 15 minutes and even sent over someone with clean towels within 40 minutes. His bungalow was a super comfortable retreat for our two families with two toddlers and a dog - everyone loved the outdoor space! I can see it being too hot in the summer months without A/C but we were very comfortable with the fans on. For families traveling with kids, just fyi we were hoping to put the kiddos in the game room for bedtime but weren't able to do so as there's no bathroom access without exiting the house and coming back up the outside stairs. Just wish we had a second day to take advantage of Chad's amazing stash of river gear!!!

Our family enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s place. Access to the river was a very short walk from the home. The house was clean and clear of clutter.

My husband and I (along with our 6 month old and our dog) enjoyed a perfect Fathers Day/Birthday weekend at Dennis's cottage! The location couldn't be better - so easy to grab provisions or a quick bite around the corner at the general store, and amazing to be able to walk to the beach in just a few minutes. The cottage is cozy - just the right size for two adults and a dog - with everything you need. Having a washing machine was extra convenient, and the balcony and fire place made for relaxing evenings. We love Dillon Beach and are so happy we found this place! Don't hesitate to book :)

The unit was clean, cozy, and right in the heart of incredible nature! The creek is incredible for bird and animal watching, and Colin is a communicative and thorough host. Couldn't recommend more highly!

We had a wonderful time at Carolyn’s place. We loved spending a day on her deck overlooking the lake - so beautiful. We also took advantage of her fire table out front. She also had a sturdy fold out table for dining - we initially didn’t see it in the pictures but she actually had everything we needed to enjoy a full meal around a table. Bonus points that we could fold it away for more space when not using! Carolyn was also very responsive and checked in daily on how we were doing. Would love to come back!

What a gem! Tim’s home is a place of tranquility with surroundings of beautiful Redwood trees and a peaceful creek on the lower property. Our family enjoyed the outdoor sitting area, adorned with heat lamps and blankets for the cooler nights. Only a short 8-10 minute picturesque drive to downtown Healdsburg through the wine county and a perfect fenced in yard for our two small dogs. Thanks again for having us!

This was a great place. I loved the environment, it was peaceful and serene. I liked the house and all the little accommodations. I highly recommend this rental.

I don't think I have enough characters available to describe this experience! We use Airbnb often and this was our best one! First, the host Jeffrey was fantastic. So helpful and communicative. But this home is just a magical place. If you're looking for a very private experience, but still close to the city... this fits the bill. I don't think the photos posted do it justice compared to the in-person experience. The house-keeping crew is perfection... you wouldn't know someone ever visited before you. Everything was immaculately clean. The kitchen has every amenity you would ever need. Blankets, linens, and towels were abundant. Our group had the most wonderful time... thank you Jeffrey and Trey for sharing your home with travelers. We enjoyed the added bonus of wildlife encounters each day as well! I am sharing the link to this property with everyone I know!

Wow! This property is absolutely stunning. Private and peaceful, it’s straight out of a magazine! Just 6 minutes from the most beautiful hiking trail, Goodlove Trail and just minutes to drive to some of the most beautiful wineries! We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

Such a great place to stay. Waking up and looking out over the vineyards was so peaceful. The house is also so close to anything you could want to do in healdsburg. Was in town for a wedding and also loved there was an iron and anything else you might need.

The school house was more than we could have ever expected. It took our breath away the second we pulled up to the property. The kids loved walking up the long drive way and exploring the tree grove. Everywhere we looked there was something even more beautiful to discover. The house itself was stocked and cozy. We felt at home immediately. Beaux Maison Sonoma is a true gem. This Airbnb is in the hills of Healdsburg, CA, in a beautiful, quiet, and private location. The house is charming and cozy, and the host is very helpful and responsive to all my questions. I have already marked this property as a favorite and I will definitely be back.

We had a great stay! This Airbnb has many great qualities, such as outdoor spaces and privacy. It has the right amount of space—roomy but not oversized (I feel weird when the Airbnb has way more space than you need for no reason). The amenities were good. It was easy to find. It had a feeling of remoteness, but was not too far away from things (I recommend the Korbel winery down the road). There was not an excessive amount of tasks to do before checking out. The requests were very reasonable. The hosts were wonderful, very kind and responsive. 10/10 would recommend.

Andy is a great host! Place is in the center of town off of 101. Charming restaurants and bars in the area. Place is cute and is great for a night’s stay.

Rachel’s cozy cabin was the perfect peaceful space to unwind & relax. The area felt homey while being clean & uncluttered. My husband & I truly enjoyed our little getaway. The home itself offers privacy while not being too far away from restaurants, the lake, shopping, hiking & adorable farms! Every amenity you’d need you’ll find at this Airbnb & the hosts are very friendly as well as responsive. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to get away & enjoy some quiet & serenity
