Little house in the country

Spend a relaxing evening and get a refreshing nights sleep at this small place in the country. It is about a 10 minute drive to downtown West Point and 20-25 minutes from Starkville. This place is a GUEST HOUSE on the premises of another Airbnb. I want to be clear as one customer didn’t realize and left negative feedback that wouldn’t have happened if she had understood the layout. Accommodation has been made to allow safety and privacy but the other house is within 10 feet of one corner.

This 130 year old farmhouse recently completely renovated with old things made new again. The Ward farmhouse is located on 80 acres in the city limits of West Point. It is within 1/2 mile of Mossy Oak and Old Waverly Golf courses and 25 miles to Mississippi State University. The house is unoccupied and designed specifically to preserve the Ward heritage and to use for airbnb. You will love the peaceful setting and step back in time along with all the modern conveniences.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Great to be able to enjoy the river and fish right from the yard. Bring your own lawn chairs as there aren't any to use. This was a very comfortable place (we rented the downstairs unit) and close enough to Columbus for restaurants and groceries. The location is quiet and peaceful. Would definitely rent this unit again.
