cozy cottage

This house was the perfect size and had everything that I needed while working out of town. It felt more like home than any hotel could! The host was great and reached out to make sure things were going well. I enjoyed seeing the deer that would walk through the neighborhood in the mornings and evenings!

Luxury on 21st

Had a great time; the home was off the beaten path in a quiet residential neighborhood, but was just a short drive to coffee shops, restaurants, local attractions etc. The home was so cute and cozy and a great place for us to make ourselves at home while in town. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog and we loved being able to walk her around the neighborhood as well. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Fort Madison!

The house was as described and looks like the pictures. It felt clean and comfortable. We especially loved the rooms with a bunk/roll away combo, it was perfect for our needs. This is a good home for families and has a fantastic park within walking distance. Eric was a good host and check-in and check-out were a breeze.

Nauvoo Halfling House

GabriellaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I wish I could give 1000 stars! This was by far my favorite experience with air bnb. Victoria was so kind and responsive whenever we had questions and made everything easy peasy! The house is SOOOO COOL and the attention to detail is beautiful. There is also a VERY respectable dvd collection and some delicious teas so sip on while you binge. OH and if you do make it out there- I highly recommend using the record player to blast the shire song while prancing around the hole in the available costumes. 1000/10 experience, and I can’t wait to see what else she does with the space through the next few years! Hopefully we’ll be out again soon!

Off grid treehouse in an ecovillage

DesireeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the treehouse. Know what you’re getting into! There is no electricity and there is no running water. We were prepared for this and had no issues at all. We originally booked for a week in March and the weather took a turn, and Arune was great reaching out asking if we would rather come in April. The community is wonderful and inviting. You can engage as little or as much as you would like with those living in the EcoVillage. We really enjoyed the morning coffee and the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about this way of living. Our daughter had an amazing time living a free range childhood for a few days. We had the opportunity to milk and cuddle goats, spend some time at the pond and utilize the outdoor shower. I could see how this might not be for everyone, but it was definitely a great experience for us!!
