Railfans will enjoy the trains and river fans will enjoy the unique east-west river movement. There will be train sounds! The space comfortably sleeps two adults in its queen size Murphy bed. Relax on the many porches overlooking the lake, take time to meander to the docks to fish, enjoy s'mores over the stone fire pit or spend the evening at the grilling station in our covered patio. In the winter, tuck yourself away in the cozy cabin complete with a wood burner, having a movie or game night (with popcorn of course)! Built by my father, we hope you cherish your time spent here just as our family has.

Lewis Street Cottage

This charming apartment is a two bedroom, one bath single level unit that sleeps four comfortably and is located across the street from the city park and within walking distance to the Mississippi Riverwalk, restaurants, bars and shops in downtown Canton. Canton is home to Culver-Stockton College and is conveniently located near Quincy, IL and Hannibal, MO.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Located 1½ miles north of Keokuk, nestled on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River, the Tree of Life River retreat is located in a cozy, private, walk-out lower level (with hosts living above). There's a private bedroom with a queen bed and another sleeping area with four twin beds, perfect for one person or a family. Relax, enjoy nature, and take advantage of our large backyard. We are located approximately 18 miles from downtown Nauvoo via the bridge in Keokuk.

Mermaid Cabin on the Mississippi River

Come stay at our cute cabin on the Mississippi River. Small one room cabin has everything you need for the perfect getaway, including a beach! Full size bed in the curtained off bedroom area, plus bunk bed, and two couches provide plenty of space to crash after a long day exploring the outdoors. Sleeping loft located above the bedroom area can be used for extra kid sleeping area. Full bath and kitchen with basic supplies will make you feel almost like home.

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.
