The Wheelhouse - Panoramic Ocean Views

Welcome to The Wheelhouse! My name is Natalie and I am 12 years old. Me and my brothers and sister saved up our PFD money and bought a rental house. When we bought the house it was in pretty bad shape. So we ripped everything out and remodeled it as a family. The money we make will go into our bank accounts for college savings. We kids will be your hosts and if you have any needs or concerns, or if you are not satisfied call us! We will of course have parents to back us up, if needed.

Nine-Mile Nugget

Located between Valdez and Thompson pass, this little "mini" offers everything you need to be comfortable on your stay. A short 13 mile drive from Valdez will have you nestled in the woods where you will enjoy peace and serenity. Newly renovated Studio-Style BnB offers a private bathroom, and a "mostly" full kitchen. (There is no range/oven, but there is a toaster, Air-Fryer, microwave, and hot-plate for all your cooking needs!) This unit is upstairs with about 12 steps to the top.

Keystone Bivy

Keep it cozy at this centrally-located home. A cute little double wide trailer. A “bivy” is a safe shelter often used in the outdoors as a quick getaway. As outdoor enthusiasts ourselves, we cherish our beloved mountains, ocean and little town of Valdez! Our home offers 3 bedrooms and a pullout queen bed. A full kitchen and 2 bathrooms offer room to cook, relax, and enjoy your stay. We are a 5 minute walk to groceries, and 20 minute walk to downtown as well as beautiful hiking trails.

The Shabbin Playhouse at Alpine Woods 10 mile

Break out the Summer gear! Your stay at he Shabbin is a private room that has everything you will need in it. Entry passcode lock. 1 Queen bed & pillows. Clean bedding & bath towels provided. Toilet, shower, kitchen including a 4 burner stove, pots & pans, dishes and silverware settings for 4, cutting knives, some baking dishes, wine glasses/opener, coffee grinder, can opener, cabinet for groceries, refrigerator /freezer. Where the mountains meet the sea in Valdez, Alaska is where you’ll find Klondike Cottage. Our cozy and inviting home is conveniently located down a modest street in town. After a fun filled day fishing and sightseeing on the ocean, hiking or skiing some of our amazing trails, or skiing and snowboarding at Thompson Pass, you'll happily retire to your comfortable home away from home. Everything you'll need to enjoy your vacation is in the home and well-maintained for your comfort.

Hucklebeary House

Hucklebeary House is a peaceful 2 bedroom house located a mile and a half from downtown. With a salmon stream running through the backyard, watch for the occasional black bear searching for huckleberries or grabbing a quick fish snack. We provide a cozy base to relax after a day of hiking, fishing or hunting. There is a full kitchen, washer and dryer, a Roku TV, and a chest freezer for your convenience, and a deck with chairs overlooking the stream and backyard.

In addition, there is a convertible sleeper sofa in the living room (twin size fits 1 person comfortably).
