Tanja und ihre Schwiegereltern, die die Hütte verwalten, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist natürlich traumhaft und die Hütte sehr schön. Anzumerken ist, dass der Strom per Aggregat zur Verfügung gestellt wird und zwischen 21 - 06:00 Uhr nur sehr reduziert (Licht) verfügbar ist. Die Heizung ist eine Ofenheizung, bei der Höhe und den dortigen Temperaturen auch gut zu wissen. Die Kommunikation war gut. Anfahrtsweg kann ein wenig einschüchtern, wenn man neu in den Bergen ist - Das Navi sagt auf Bergstraßen 100 km/h und berechnet so die Anfahrtszeit früher. Man ist aber eher mit 30-50km/h unterwegs. Wir waren zum zweiten Mal da und wieder war es unglaublich! Das Haus liegt einfach wunderschön oben am Berg, mit toller Aussicht und jeden Tag die Geier, die man über sich fliegen sieht.

Ho trascorso un soggiorno fantastico a Sutrio, situato ai piedi del Monte Zoncolan, dove ho potuto fare molti giri in bicicletta per allenarmi. L'appartamento della Nonna era nuovo, pulito e molto spazioso: c'era spazio a sufficienza per bagagli e biciclette. C'erano un bar locale, un supermercato, una macelleria e un panificio, tutti a 300 metri a piedi dall'appartamento. Ho pedalato ogni giorno direttamente fuori dalla porta di casa e ho potuto visitare Zoncolan, Sappada, Sauris, Tolmezzo, Chiusaforte, Ampezzo, Ovaro e molti altri paesi e villaggi circostanti, arrivando persino oltre il confine con l'Austria! Michael e la sua famiglia sono stati molto gentili e mi hanno mostrato il laboratorio artigianale di falegnameria locale e mi hanno persino portato a prendere un caffè al bar locale. Sono molto grato per la loro ospitalità e generosità e spero di tornare l'anno prossimo!

Nach einem kurzen Treffen mit Helmut wurden wir einen Großteil des Berges zur Enzianhütte hinaufgefahren. Von dort aus ging es gemeinsam einen etwa 30 minütigen Aufstieg zur Mauthner Alm hinauf. Dieser hatte es für uns Flachländler (Niedersachsen) in sich, ziemlich steil und nah am Abgrund, dafür mit fantastischem Ausblick. Netterweise hat Helmut sogar einen Teil unseres Gepäcks mit hinaufgetragen. Die Lage der Hütte ist wirklich wunderschön, ein pures Idyll mit grandiosem Ausblick in mitten von grasenden Kühen, die des öfteren einen Besuch abstatten. Die Hütte ist sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet, man findet Alles, was man für ein paar Tage auf der Alm braucht. Dass wir unsere Zahnpasta im Auto vergaßen, war gar nicht schlimm, da ein Anruf bei den Betreibern der Enzianhütte genügte und die sehr freundlichen Betreiber Abhilfe schafften. Dort kann man auch sehr lecker speisen und trinken. Insgesamt war es eine unvergessliche Erfahrung, die wir gerne wiederholen.

It's a very special and unique place surrounded by pure nature. Elio was very friendly, helpful and very fast in answering my questions. I can recommend his apartment fully!! Thanks a lot

My husband and I were fortunate to have stayed in Silvio's lovely apartment for a week and could have happily remained for an entire month. Easily one of the most memorable, comfortable, and relaxing properties we've ever rented, and the perfect location for exploring the wonderful region of Friuli -Venezia Giulia. And if you need a change of cultural pace, be sure to enjoy the close-by enchanting nature preserve and mountain trails. Silvio and Nataly were exceptional hosts, only adding to the optimal level of our stay - do not hesitate to book and try to add a few extra days to soak in all that this delightful town and area have to offer - there's much more than prosciutto, as delicious as it is. We can't wait to return!

Rik’s Airbnb is a little piece of heaven. The cottage is lovely, calm, and just as beautiful as the pictures showcase. We had a magical stay and managed to enjoy the mountains, lakes and lovely small towns nearby. Of course, a trip to this Airbnb would be incomplete without booking a dinner at Dolada, the amazing restaurant Rik and his family run close by to the BnB. The food was extraordinary ! Rik is also a very helpful and communicative host. All in all, I have to say this is one of the best Airbnb’s I have ever had the pleasure of staying in and cannot recommend it, or Rik’s hospitality, enough !

Nice quiet place. Close to the mountains and lake. I recommend it for rest. Good place for a family.
