Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Châteauroux

Jean Caude and his wife were amazing. We got settled into the amazing room and then he invited us to join him for some wine in the yard. He gave us a tour of the grounds and was extremely friendly. I'm the morning we had breakfast in his 1650 home with baguettes and croissants, fruit home made jam and freshly squeezed orange juice. With beautiful music playing. This stay was a 10/10 and a high light of our holiday.

Lovely accommodation with charming and helpful host

a very nice stop in a house surrounded by greenery and quiet. Very accessible from the highway. Pierre and Colette are very welcoming. The bedroom is spacious as well as the bathroom. Breakfast is hearty and everything is homemade! Don't miss it.

A spontaneous overnight stay near Bourges . Upon awakening, we really saw what special environment we were in ! Such a nice hostess , lovely breakfast , greeted by horses , dogs , birds and cats . Really perfect for us. We will definitely come back sometime, but then with my daughter ( who really loves horses). You were the start for a very special vacation for us!

An idyllic stay in a green setting! The fire ris is an old "tower house" restored with great taste and care. The room is very comfortable. Breakfast, always delicious, is served on a nice table. The panorama of the pond that the heron flies over invites you to daydream. A soothing, magical and rich place thanks to Caroline's personality!

Just wow! I want to start by thanking Jeanette and Zeus who were so incredibly accommodating and friendly. You really welcomed us to your home and it was such a pleasure to meet you both! Location - a great spot to go back to after a day of exploring. So many beautiful little villages surrounding the area and chateaus such as Chenonceaux, Amboise and Chambord were only a 1hr drive away. Accommodation - incredible! The photos don’t do it justice. The rooms, gardens and pool were all immaculate. It’s is obvious that Jeanette puts a lot of effort in to make it beautiful for the guests, down to every last little detail such as the beautiful and fresh flower arrangements. The bed was super comfortable and we loved wandering around the gardens, seeing some wildlife & meeting the farm animals (and Lazy Lou!) Breakfast was also absolutely amazing and delicious, it was a great start to our days. Thank you again for this highlight of our France trip and we can’t wait to return :)

An ideal stay to recharge your batteries in the heart of an exceptional estate. Valerie is very attentive to requests. The room is spacious and very pleasant. The breakfast prepared by Valerie with garden products such as fruit, jams, eggs, and honey... delighted us. We also enjoyed the calm and amenities of the gardens.

We warmly thank Zelie for hosting us during our stopover and overnight in VATAN. The property is very well located close to the highway and our room was very comfortable. There is a nice little, very nice indoor garden and we were able to charge our electric vehicle (that's a real plus!). Our dog was welcome, which is always appreciated when we traveled, the breakfast was tasty and hearty. Anyway, don't hesitate! Book with Zelie!

We spent 2 excellent nights at Patricia's place which is both welcoming, discreet and attentive. Real happiness! All in a quiet and pleasant environment. We highly recommend!

A real paradise on earth, we had a wonderful long weekend at Gilles and Christine's. Their house, a sublime place, does not pale next to their benevolence and kindness. I would highly recommend it.

This is the second time we've stayed at Marie José's and it's always a pleasure to come down and we'll come back to see the next renovations and why not test their cottage, the environment is conducive to rest and relaxation but also very convenient to visit the Beauval Zoo over two days which is 30 minutes from the cottage. We loved having breakfast with his homemade products which are for me the best of the best, the little morning conversations were very pleasant and not very intrusive just as I like, as I said above we will see each other again. With pleasure

Very good stay in Poulaines, Dominique and his wife are very nice, the accommodation is very clean, carefully decorated, well-equipped and the breakfast is perfect, a property to recommend!

The decoration of the house is worthy of a decorating magazine. Everything has been sought with love and good taste and it's beautiful. The room is extremely quiet and the house is very easy to find. Claire is very friendly. An excellent place.

A delightful stay at Anita’s peaceful and restful home. Traditional, rustic farmhouse with use of a lovely pool. The stand out experience was Anita’s breakfasts. All home cooked, and sourced locally. Artisan cheese, home pressed apple juice, home baked cake and yoghurt, with home made preserves. The second morning we were there Anita served the most exquisite omelette, superb. Thank you Anita for your warm welcome to your home, with your doggy friends Michael and Simba.

Maria was very nice and welcoming. What the listing didn't say is that the garden, very large and composed of several spaces, is simply fabulous: mixing flowers, wild plants, medicinal and edible plants. In addition, the dishes concocted by Maria, whose ingredients were all from her production, were tasty and balanced. In short: an atypical, quiet and charming place.

We tried to come up with a bad review so we could keep the place our little secret... but we just really loved our stay with Keith and Anita. We went to stay at this lovely and charming chateau for a week and it was all that we hoped for. It is a great place to relax and unwind. We felt very welcome with such friendly hosts, who were always there to give tips for local restaurants, etc. We would love to come back there one day. Tip: we could recommend their homemade afternoon tea.
