Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Champniers

A beautiful, well equipped little gîte, with everything you could possibly need. The garden is so peaceful, and within a few minutes drive of les lacs de Haute Charente, which are ideal for dog walking. We loved meeting Harry the resident dog. Thank you to Anneguus and Dirk, for being so welcoming. I hope to return some day.

Séjourner au Moulin de Bord, c’est comme remonter le fil du temps, là où l’eau chantait autrefois sous les meules en pierre. Niché dans un écrin de verdure, ce vieux moulin chargé d’histoire offre aujourd’hui une parenthèse enchantée, loin du tumulte du monde. Le murmure du Bandiat berce les jours et les nuits, et chaque pierre semble raconter les souvenirs d’un passé paisible. Le cadre est d’une beauté rare, authentique et ressourçante. Le calme y est profond, presque sacré. On y respire la nature, on y trouve la paix. Quant à Sabrina, l’hôte, elle incarne la générosité et la douceur. Son accueil chaleureux et attentionné donne à ce lieu déjà magique une âme encore plus lumineuse.

Brice a été à la fois réactif et accueillant, et son logement fidèle à la descritption et impeccable. Rien à redire, à une prochaine fois peut-être !

Nous avons passé un week-end de rêve entre amis (5 personnes) dans cette très belle maison au calme absolu au milieu des vignes et très bien équipée très largement au dessus de la moyenne des locations qui s'en tiennent au strict nécessaire. A noter le très bon accueil de Lucy dont le briefing est complet. Un vrai coup de cœur que nous recommandons.

De accommodatie is zeer sfeervol en compleet ingericht met goede meubels, veel boeken, kunst aan de muur etc. Buiten is een fraai terras met barbecue. Iets verderop is de heerlijke natuurlijke pool met zitje. Het landgoed van Adrian (en Vicky) bestaat verder o.a. uit zijn eigen woning, nog wat mooie oude stallen en andere woningen, een wei met ezels, een atelier van een kunstenaar en een moestuin. Het geheel is heel charmant, vredig en in een groene natuurlijke setting. Adrian zelf (Vicky was in Engeland) is heel aardig en de ontvangst was heel hartelijk met een kist groenten, fruit, zelfgemaakte jam, etc. Wij hebben als familie (6volwassenen en een baby) een heerlijke week gehad bij Adrian en we kunnen deze accommodatie zeer aanbevelen.

Séjour très agréable, accueil chaleureux, petit déjeuner excellent, lieu magnifique.a recommander vivement, nous y retournerons.

Mysigt hus med allt du behöver, vi kände oss som hemma. Väldigt fina omgivningar och roligt för vår 2-åring att se kossor, höns och getter. Perfekt med utemöbler både i solen och i ett litet uterum med öppna portar för varma dagar. Vi fick ett varmt välkomnande och kommer gärna tillbaka.

Tout s'est très bien passé. Super agréable d'avoir pu profiter du jardin avec notre chienne. Le logement était parfait pour nous 👌, spacieux, propre et pratique avec belle campagne environnante ! Nous recommandons sans réserve ce logement.

Absolutely loved staying here! Anthony is friendly and welcoming, check in was easy and the place had everything we needed. Such a lovely location within walking distance to everything. Just bring your muscles if you bring lots of luggage - there’s a stunning wooden spiral staircase to keep you fit! Thank you SO much Anthony!

Een prachtige plek, in een historisch chateau. Bij aankomst wordt je hartelijk ontvangen en rondgeleid. Er is volop rust, een zwembad en sportfaciliteiten op het terrein. Het dorp heeft een winkel, een bakker en een bar met eten en soms live muziek. Het huis heeft een fijne mix van Franse klasse en Engelse gezelligheid, en er zijn fijne buren. Wij hebben met ons gezin een heerlijke week gehad!

Had a wonderful stay, Nick and his wife are great hosts, with a wonderful 15th century building in which we stayed. Easy to walk into confolens, from apartment We hired a car, in which we was able to explore all surrounding areas, also supermarkets within 3 mins drive Great out door space, with seating area, plus garden to explore with chickens Thanks for a pleasant stay and your information on the area Would definitely book again 🙂

Sophie est une hôte incroyable ! La propreté du gîte est impeccable. l'endroit est un véritable havre de paix,la déco est très soignée et sublime. (bouquets de roses fraîches,pétales séchées,petit cadeau de bienvenue) Sans compter toutes les options que comporte ce bien. (jaccuzi à proximité,piscine,massage, chambre et salle de bain tout confort) tout est subtilement pensé. Bravo pour tout le travail fournis,nous y reviendrons c'est certain ! mille merci encore. à bientôt 🌸

Dès le franchissement de la porte , nous rentrons dans un univers raffiné, et atypique. Très bel appartement , décoré avec goût en plein centre du village , tout les services sont à proximité . restaurants " la toscane" au pas de la porte , et un peu plus loin "aux caprices" accueil chaleureux et plats savoureux. Had a fantastic week at this beautiful gite. It's so peaceful, private and a perfect place to relax and unwind. It has been renovated to a very high standard and is absolutely spotless, comfortable and well equipped. We felt right at home here. We very much enjoyed the pool and the log burner (on a couple of chilly nights) and the ability to log into our Netflix account. The surrounding area is very beautiful, with lots of stunning villages and castles to visit. Anemone is a great host and really helpful and friendly. All in all, we could not have had a more perfect week and would definitely return.

Très bon séjour dans cette belle et AUTHENTIQUE maison de famille au charme indéniable. Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 3/4ans : les enfants ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable/terrain de pétanque du jardin et la ferme pédagogique à proximité, nous les adultes nous avons adoré la grande cuisine conviviale et la salle de bain magistrale avec vue sur la campagne. Petit bonus pour la vaisselle : quel plaisir de manger dans de jolies assiettes vintage ! La maison est très ancienne, elle était donc un peu humide à notre arrivée (rien de surprenant vu la saison) mais une fois la cheminée lancée et la maison aérée, tout était normal. Bilan : un séjour campagnard paisible et ressourçant, merci beaucoup Katy 💚

This is a very well equipped villa. The location surrounding was a concern but we slept in late every morning so noise was not an issue. Very secure and not overlooked.

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. The local town is 10 mins away, with a market. The property is a lovely old farmhouse, with lots of space and nice furniture, comfortable beds and a refreshing pool. Valerie made us feel very welcomed. A great place to unwind.

Hôte vraiment accueillant rien à dire tout était parfait logement correspond parfaitement au photo et vraiment propre je vous recommande vraiment de passer des week-ends ou vacance chez lui vraiment super vous ne regretterez pas je vous garantie 🙂🙂🙂
