Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

Quiet Urbana bonus room, 5 miles from University

Our space is a sunny bonus room located above the garage of our home which is situated on a beautiful piece of property on the edge of town. Private entrance to the property includes a slightly steeper than normal staircase. Once inside, you will find a large area that includes two double beds, a recliner, work desk, dresser, Smart TV w/ Roku. The large bathroom (shower only) includes fridge, microwave, & K-Cup w/Starbucks coffee pods. Space not suitable for young children. No pets.

What a lovely house that has been thoughtfully restored! The neighborhood is quiet, and it is nice to relax on the front porch (don't mind the light traffic that passes by). The bed is very comfortable, and the bedroom has blackout shades. We will definitely stay there again!

This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a lovely space with plenty of space for us to host our extended family for meals.

Crystal's place was a great home base for our visit to Champaign-Urbana! It was comfortable and homey and only a few minutes drive from anywhere we wanted to go. We had 6 family members from 2 different states meet-in-the-middle at this house, and it was perfect for us! Unfortunately we weren't able to play outside and enjoy the sports equipment due to the heat wave, but we did enjoy sitting out on the porch in the early mornings for coffee. The house truly had everything we needed, and was extremely clean. The sheets on the beds were a big hit - we all loved them! The co-hosts were also very helpful whenever I had a question. Highly recommend this place!

This cape cod was simply awesome!! We were very comfortable and felt right at home. It was only 5 min from our daughter's dorm which was perfect!!!! Great location and host.

Great place to stay in Champaign! JP’s place was very comfortable for 3 couples. Comfy beds, furniture and plenty of space for all of us. Everything has been recently updated and exactly like the photos and description. Extremely clean, simple instructions, all you could need. Limited amenities in kitchen, make note there is no microwave. We would definitely stay here again when in Champaign.

This was our second stay at the Nestle on New Street. Our family loves this place — it’s like our home away from home when we are visiting family in Champaign. We appreciate the thoughtful touches — snacks, extra charging cords, makeup wipes, etc. — that make staying here stress free. We hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful oasis in the middle of a busy area! We were surrounded by people for 3 days being at the busy Rantoul Family Sports Complex for a tournament. Coming back to this zen-like, quiet, clean, and spacious apartment made the weekend much more enjoyable.

Had a fantastic stay. Bill was an excellent host, taking care of all our needs. Place was very clean, neat and tidy. Excellent location. Within walking distance to the Farmers Market on Saturday mornings.
