Studio room in middle of Phnom Penh city

Staying at Prum’s studio room was very pleasant and is perfect for a longer stay in Phnom Penh. The space is located on the top floor of the family home with a large balcony, kitchen, giant comfy bed, washing machine, fridge and cooking facilities, as well as good wifi. The space is very quiet and away from the road, and the only thing you’re likely to hear is the croak of a gecko or two. Prum’s parents live on the ground floor and are very welcoming and friendly, and Prum himself is also extremely helpful, gracious and willing to help with any questions. The area is in a part of Phnom Penh which has many embassy’s and thus was a little too quiet for me, and there isn’t much in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation, so unless you can handle the heat and traffic then a tuk tuk is needed for going to places of interest. But there is a nice cafe next door, are some good restaurant/ supermarkets nearby, and you can get anything you want with ease. I’d definitely book again if in PP.

Sam was able to accommodate us last minute because my previous host caused me too much stress for not fully declaring her listing. This caused us to leave in the middle of the night with the help of Airbnb support. I am thankful that Sam's place was available and it made my stay in Phnom Penh worthwhile. He allowed us to check in early and he made us feel at home. The unit is located on the 4th floor and he specifically said that in his listing. First few days were tiring but maybe our bodies were able to eventually adjust. This was not a major issue for us but consider this if you have loved ones with limited mobility. The place is also located near the Russian Market and nice restaurants that is why I love this place. Just one suggestion: Please check the AC in the bedroom since it is not that cold. While I understand that the room faces the east, maybe the filter needs to be cleaned so it can be at its best. Thanks, Sam!

Beautiful place, totally worth it. The staff are so kind, breakfast was amazing and the room is just want you need to relax for some days. The only tiny detail is that there were no chairs and small table in the balcony, like it shows on the pictures. But rather than that, it was really great
