Excellent to be used as transit accomodation to Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park. Water is from borehole with 1 litre courtesy bottle for drinking per person per day. It has a swimming pool with outdoor bar / braai area. It has three operational beds with the fourth one available on request. The whole house is carpeted except for the bathrooms, kitchen and scullery.

The Rustic Chalet is a large and very private accomodation. Pefect for holidaying in for a couple, 3 friends or family of 3 people. The chalet is set in a pool front with view of the greenery, trees and some rocks. We absolutely loved Kuminda Farm and would highly recommend a visit. The farm is environmentally sustainable -- solar powered electricity & organic farming methods. While Lucy could not be at the farm for our stay, Sipho treated us like family. She explained the farming operations, was an extraordinary cook and became a good. The house was comfortable. The gardens were exquisitely beautiful and the organic vegetables tasted like vegetables are meant to taste. The traditional meal was tasty. We learned a lot, relaxed a lot and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lilly is such a great host, she actually went an extra mile in ensuring that I enjoy my stay. On my first day of arrival, my car had a mechanical which caused me to arrive in Serowe in tje early hours of the morning and Lilly was so patient and waited for me all that time, I was so touched. She is open, kind, caring and her place felt like home. I will definitely book her place whenever I visit Serowe and I recommend her place to other guest who may have the opportunity to visit to Serowe.

Since it was winter, Tiny let me know in advance that it was too cold to stay in Base Camp Lodge. Instead, she gave us the option of staying at her sister's B and B, The Pink House, in Serowe. Her sister was delightful and the en suite rooms were very clean. We were not there very long, though, so weren't able to try the breakfast.

We stayed at this tented camp for two nights on our way to Kasane. It can be described as having rustic charm in the midst of the bush by the river. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Walking by the river at sunset was very enjoyable. There are several areas on the property where you can be by yourself or mingle with other guests. The communal kitchen was well equipped and a welcoming place for all. The host is friendly and helpful with local recommendations. We recommend this property and would happily return.
