House vacation rentals in Carmen Beach

This home had beautiful views, a wonderful staff, and was a superb find for our family’s Christmas vacation. Santa Teresa is amazing and we had some of the best food on vacation ever! Our host , Brano was very responsive and our local helpers were amazing. There is a housekeeping staff on site, but they respect your privacy and keep watch over the property. They brought us extra towels when needed and were overall extremely respectful and helpful. For those traveling to this location, I strongly recommend either a car or ATVs as the home is located up a steep driveway. It is walkable (and there are 150 stairs to use instead) but to do this on a daily basis, you would have to be pretty fit and young. In addition, there are stairs from the driveway to get down to the house and these would not be appropriate for anyone with balance or stability issues. They were fine for us at 50 years old, but should be a consideration for anyone with walking or stability issues. We had a great time!

Had an amazing stay ! Location gives you a real feel of Costa Rica, she was not kidding when she said you need a 4X4 to access the property. Love the home, love the view, and love the easy communication with the host.

Barbara and John were literally the kindest people in Costa Rica you could stay with. Our toddler, the biggest food critic of them all loved every food recommendation we received. He danced to the music in restaurants and was welcomed with love by locals. The home is so private, relaxing, beautifully decorated, everyone in our family felt at home here. We cooked in the kitchen and found it fully equipped and easy to cook for a group. We loved watching monkeys swaying on neighboring trees and birds singing each morning near the large deck. We slept so peacefully in their comfortable large beds every night and the space was quite large so our kiddo got to get his wiggles out. Their pool was the perfect temperature everyday and large enough you could do laps. John provided such a throughout and very legit surf lesson. Overall we LOVED this home and it was well worth the journey into this cool little surf town. - Christina

Es una casa muy linda, muy cerca de la playa, Rocio siempre estuvo muy atenta. El interior de la casa es bonito, limpio, la cocina bien equipada y las camas muy cómodas. Recomiendo plenamente este airbnb :)

La villa es muy cómoda cuenta con los utensilios en la cosina para preparar los alimentos ,el lugar es tranquilo para descansar y muy cerca de la playa y supermercados y restaurantes , fuimos en familia y nos agradó mucho sin duda nos alojaremos de nuevo con Carlie

I had a great stay! Anne-Laure is a wonderful host—she made sure my check-in went smoothly and helped me out multiple times during my stay. She even gave me a hand returning my quad bike when I was checking out. Always quick to respond and happy to help with anything I needed. I’d definitely come back. Thank you so much! much.

I could not recommend this airbnb more!!! The hosts were the best hosts I have had through airbnb. They messaged us before our stay to give us instructions on how to find the place along with restaurants and recommendations on what to do. Any questions we had they were extremely attentive and responding in minutes. The location was stunning. It was difficult to get to with a car but 100% doable. We ended up renting an ATV from a company that they work with. The ATV company came to deliver it to the house and picked it up as well The hosts offered a cleaning lady to come daily which was an even better plus. It was only about a 5 minute ATV ride to the start of the main road where all the restaurants are. Overall, we had an amazing stay :))

Everything was amazing including the chef I hired. The massage therapist for my retreat was top notch. Marisel the house manager was top of the line! She was very responsive and took care of all of my needs for my women's retreat as well and scheduled the massages and transportation. Sergio our driver for our excursions was the best. The customer service was phenomenal. My only challenge was I scheduled a beach picnic, and the description said there was a path to the beach. This is a path right along the driveway separated by greenery (not sure why the path was even built when you can just walk down the driveway and end up in the same place and easier. This path includes about 50 steps and about 8/10 cement stepping-stones that lead to a gate, you then walk across the street to another path that's not good for elderly or anyone with knee/hip/leg challenges as it's over debris, rocks, roots, water, mud etc and at least another 1000 steps if not more (not good at distance).

We really enjoyed our stay at Clara’s place. The location was excellent - it felt very private, nestled in the jungle, but also a short drive to the main strip and beaches. Despite the bathroom being open air, we saw almost no bugs and none in the downstairs unit (a big positive for my fearful girlfriend). The place itself was charming and tastefully designed. Clara was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would happily stay here again!

Pictures do not do justice to the view from this property ! Host was amazing , recommend renting ATVs , host arranged for them to be delivered for us, we loved riding them into town , to the beaches and visited Montezuma and the tide pools. We look forward to renting this property again on our next visit to the area !

The villa is gorgeous! We really loved it, the design is very unique with stunning view! The location is very comfortable, few minutes ride from the tide pools, and the other beaches of Mal Pais. Away from the mess of Santa Teresa, but yet close enough to visit for restaurents, beaches, and morning bakery. Judita was very nice and responsive, helped us with everything we needed. The house is really immersed in nature, as you live on a tree together with the wild life. Very unique place!

Perfect rental house with 4 rooms separated on 3 floors, providing intimacy. Great view of the ocean from the upper floors and intimate poolside space on the lower floor. Location couldn’t be better - easy 5 min walk to the beach, grocery and restaurants and easily accessible by park with onsite parking. This is our third time in Santa Teresa and this was our favorite Airbnb rental by far.

Parenthèse de 15jours dans cette appartement idéalement situé à Santa Teresa. Loin de l’effervescence et de la poussière de la ville, une bulle de calme sur les hauteurs. On accède par un chemin typiquement costaricain pour arriver sur le flan de la côte avec une vue à couper le souffle. La casa jade est épurée, agréable et fonctionnelle on s’y sent bien tout de suite. Singes, oiseaux, baleines iguanes sans oublier Shlumi le chat du quartier sont les seuls voisins. Marie et Martin nous ont accueilli et ont su répondre avec gentillesse à toutes nos demandes, ils sont disponibles, très réactifs et d’une grande efficacité. Ils nous ont permis de découvrir de belles adresses. Un grand merci à Marie pour ses recommandations qui ont toutes été validées !

Es un lugar súper recomendable. ¡La ubicación es perfecta! está súper cerca de la playa y justo en la calle principal de Santa Teresa, por lo que hay supermercados, bares y restaurantes cerca. Además, la habitación tiene una estufa y utensilios para cocinar, lo cual fue muy útil para nosotros. También tiene estacionamiento para autos. El aire acondicionado es un plus, y pudimos disfrutar de agua caliente en la regadera. Y puedes usar la alberca del hotel, que es muy agradable! Además Andrea fue amable con consejos para tomar el Ferry.

We had the best time at Richards place, and loved the location being right next to Rocobar to grab a bite to eat. The beach is amazing, we would definitely book again.

such a beautiful place to stay Santa Teresa. everything was new and modern and worked as it should. felt right at home and the host was responsive and gave us great recommendations of where to go in the area, they also provide a transportation service if you need to get around without the hassle.

We loved the bungalow it was an easy walk to restaurants and the beach. The house was clean & nicely decorated. We recommend this beach bungalow.
