Delightful Waterfront Cottage

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What a special gem this place is!!! It was our home base for several days while we explored all the amazing things to do and see in the area. We needed help with some things and Shailagh was SO patient and kind with our needs. The cleanliness of the place was noteworthy. IMMACULATE. Beds incredibly comfy. It was such a still and calm environment with tons of wildlife to enjoy. We saw an eagle, a mother loon and her babies and had a heron visit us every morning. Took the canoe for a spin which was very fun. You do hear cars go by on the Cabot trail but this would not prevent us from coming back but worth mentioning for full transparency. We drove most mornings to Ingonish for coffee at the Salty Rose /Periwinkle Cafe (boutique like place with delicious options as well as beautiful local crafts). It was such a pretty drive we didn't mind at all. It just became a welcomed routine. Definitely recommend driving up the eastern entrance. We came at the start of our trip from the western coast
A serene coastal view captures the sun setting over calm waters, casting golden reflections on the surface. Rugged rocks line the shore, while distant hills are softly illuminated by the fading light under a partly cloudy sky.

We enjoyed this beautiful stay in Dingwall. It’s a lovely bnb with a small balcony and a perfect sunset. Not far from some nice hikes and a store. Nice continental breakfast of yogurt and pastry left in the fridge for us. Love the beautiful linens and the beachy theme.

We had such wonderful stay at Audrey’s place. The place is as shown in the pictures and it is peaceful, quiet and surrounded by greenery which is what we needed if you are coming from the City like us. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visit Cape Breton Island.

Sky-high yurt with amazing view of the river

SylviaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We loved our stay in the Singing Bowls yurt. The yurt and surroundings were stunning. Large windows cover a quarter of the yurt and look out over a wide river, where we got to watch the sunrise and eagles flying over head. The inside is beautifully decorated and includes everything you'll need for a relaxing stay. There is a private outhouse a minute from the yurt, and it's got to be the nicest outhouse ever made haha Andrea and Clay are both lovely people. This is our second time staying with them (we were in another yurt last time, which was also gorgeous), and we'll definitely be back some time!
An aerial view showcases a stunning coastal landscape, with a sandy shoreline meeting the shimmering waters of a bay. Lush green areas are visible, interspersed with winding roads and small clusters of buildings, under a clear blue sky dotted with a few white clouds.

Meat Cove Campground (Cabin #1)

AaronRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Loved my stay at Meat Cove campground, and super happy about getting a cabin with some windy weather overnight. Great spot to hike around a little bit, super friendly staff, and so nice just be out comfortably in a gorgeous middle of nowhere location. I may never make it back, but all the more glad I came out here, 100% worth the trip. If you’re thinking about it, just do it.
