An amazing stay! We loved the area, the cottage, and the hosts.

We had a friendly welcome from Deborah, Simon, and their dog. The Coquet Cottage was beautifully decorated with lovely touches like linen bedding and a nice kitchen area. The grounds were beautiful, our dog loved spending time outside. The outdoor tub was very welcome on a hot day. The hosts recommended the local lake and some dog walking routes. A beautiful part of France, only wish we could have stayed longer!

Wow! That's the impression we had when we arrived. True to the description, this little house in the meadow is very nice. The stone was highlighted inside. The sheepfold has been restored with great taste and optimization. This cottage is really made for nature lovers. 100% disconnection. Far from everything. Even the access road to the cottage (200 m on foot, allows you to soak up this feeling of freedom). Avoid bringing too many things or plan several trips 😀 back and forth. After all, walking is good for your health. No neighbors. A pure moment of happiness to unwind. And our dogs were the happiest in these spaces. We went really well. We can only recommend this place.

Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and beautiful terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, wifi is a little tight for teleworking. I recommend it.

we had a great week, tastefully furnished and very comfortable accommodation, nothing is missing and it quickly feels like home. a big thank you to Estelle for her kind attention, to Jean Baptiste for his welcome. Estelle is very welcoming, communication is very easy with her which is very nice nowadays. we enjoyed being welcomed by our hosts. haven of peace and tranquility we highly recommend the small accommodation and intend to come back.

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

A lovely peaceful place to relax. The house is very cosy and has a nice area to sit outside and enjoy the view. The pool is nice and large, and along with and the many other leisure facilities very well looked after. Alan and Fanny were very friendly and gave us some good tips on places to visit. It's a very short walk into the village where the Forge restaurant is well worth a visit.

Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Very good stay, the garden is beautiful and peaceful, the village is very cute 20 minutes from the Dordogne Valley. Jean Marie and Nicole are charming and hosted us very well.

Apart from getting very lost trying to find it we had an absolutely wonderful stay. The house is really beautiful and perfect for our party of 9 (including a baby & toddler). The pool was really fun and we enjoyed the ping pong table. The house was very well equipped and we found lots to do within 30-40 min drive. Lovely restaurant in Coly (10 min drive) opposite the church and great supermarket in Terrasson (15 min drive). Lots of local markets, Sarlat was especially good. Would definitely recommend this beautiful house and we hope to be back one day!

We had a wonderful weekend in this cottage. The place is really superb and exotic, the pool is very well maintained and all the amenities are present in the cottage. Viviane is adorable and responsive for any questions, I recommend for a weekend/holiday with family or friends!

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

From the welcome to the goodbye, everything was perfect ! The tranquil surroundings were ideal to kick back and unwind. We were made to feel at home straightaway and nothing was too much trouble for Cornelius and Nicky, our hosts. Perfectly situated within walking or driving distance of Puy L’évêque a medieval town filled with wonderful streets to explore and restaurants to eat in, the apartment runs along side the River Lot which provides a perfect sound track to relax to. Add in the accompanying frogs and crickets and you have a feast for both the ears and eyes ! There was a kayak for our use on site and lots of different areas around the property in which to sit and watch the world go by. The apartment itself is well equipped - a perfect size for two and we could not recommend it highly enough.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve.
