Rural location in Tappen. Our 400 sq ft one bedroom suite is equipped with a full kitchen, living space and a bathroom with a shower. Whether you are looking for a weekend escape, attending a local event, or in transit between Vancouver and Calgary, you will enjoy the peace and quiet of our surroundings. We have a second unit on the ground floor of our house called The Sunset Studio. If you are traveling with someone else and they would like their own space, check its availability calendar.

It is situated just 5 minute drive to Sunnybrae beach, 10 minutes to Blind Bay and Salmon Arm is just 15 minutes away. The yard shares a fence with horses, sheep and entertaining goats. We welcome well behaved dogs in the cabin, please let us know if you will be bringing one.

Karina is a fantastic host! She was quick with her responses over message and came to meet us to make sure we got in okay because the door lock was finicky. I brought my two dogs (50, 70lbs) and the suite was more spacious than I thought which was perfect for my partner and I. Karina was also so kind, understanding, and accommodating with our dogs when they sometimes would bark (hearing footsteps or her dog upstairs). She also recommended two school fields that are a nice walkable distance as well as a giant dog park that is a short drive, which was PERFECT to give our dogs easy access to lots of running and playing time. A super sweet deal with a super great host!!

Jessica’s place was so nice!!!!! Her property is beautiful and the suite was self contained and easy to find/check into. Beds were comfy and the place was sparkling. She was also so pleasant and a lovely host. Would recommend if you’re in the salmon arm area!

Sweetest Suite Downtown

The apartment is fabulous, very clean with lots of perks. There is everything there for you to use, e.g. condiments, Keurig coffee, bbq, etc. The hosts are very communicative. Sadly we only stayed one night. Only thing to note is that we couldn’t see how it was downtown as it was in a suburb and you had to drive to shopping, etc. In any case, the property is in a very nice neighbourhood. We loved the garden and the gargoyles!
