Absolutely beautiful area and gorgeous home that is meticulously maintained! If you want a place to stay that is away from it all you can’t bear this home. It was very clean. There is Owls Head golf course just down the road which is beautiful with spectacular view and a great restaurant. There is a small grocery store very close in Mansonville along with a nice coffee shop and another great restaurant. Honestly just driving around the dirt roads in Mansonville, Potton and Highwater will literally take your breath away, the views are unmatched. There is plenty to do within 30-60 minutes (especially if you like the outdoors) but why would you ever want to leave this place. If you need somewhere to get away and clear your head look no further, this is it!

This was a great getaway! It was the perfect size house for the three of us. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped (especially compared to other places I’ve stayed). Emmy was responsive and available. I wish we could have stayed here longer!

Nous sommes allés avec des amis et nos chiens pour une compétition canine à Brome et, l’emplacement , la maison ancestrale avec son cachet extraordinaire, la grande cour arrière avec le spa, la superbe galerie couverte qui fait la façade en plus du côté droit de la maison , etc…bref, tout était parfait et nous allons certainement y retourner l’an prochain ! Adam was an incredible host. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay providing recommendations and quick answers to questions whenever needed. The home was immaculately clean when we arrived. This also had to be the most well equipped Airbnb I've ever stayed at. From the kitchen supplies, board games, vinyls, CDs, to the throughly detailed guidebook written by host, I was so beyond impressed! The most outstanding part of this stay is of course the location and the views this home provides. It provided the perfect private oasis for a stay to just unwind and unplug. I'd highly recommend this stay if your local for a tranquil, low-key retreat.

This place is so wonderful! Everything is provided for your comfort. Rayna was great in communicating an issue about one of the toilet is not working and offered a full refund if that would be a problem, which it was not at all. The location is great. Easy access to the lake for swimming or kayaking (kayak/canoe is available for use). It has a nice patio for sitting while enjoying the sunset view. This makes it to the list of favorite places to stay.

I definitely made the right choice booking this house for our trip. Dennis was very informative and responded quickly to any questions that I had. The home itself was in a peaceful area, and we all really enjoyed waking up to the view of the woods out of our sliding glass doors. Dennis clearly put a lot of effort into renovating the space, and I appreciated how clean and comfortable the beds were. That’s something I really cared about. The location was convenient as it was only an hour out of Montreal. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

Libby’s cottage is so quaint and beautiful! The rural Vermont scenery was so peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the rocking chairs on the porch. Libby and her family were so friendly and made us feel right at home. My toddler loved playing with her kids, who so kindly showed him all over their beautiful property! Their dog is so sweet, too! We had such a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Wat een mooi licht huis met uitzicht op bos en rivier, zelfs vanuit het bed. We hadden een korte mindere start doordat de schoonmaakster niet het juiste bedlinnen klaar gelegd voor het 3de bed, de bbq deed het niet en er stond vieze vaat in de kast. Waarom dan toch 5 sterren? Kate loste het snel en goed op. Dank je wel! En het huis was gewoon geweldig! Hier had ik zo graag langer willen blijven. Technisch mooie materialen, uitgebreide keuken, goed groot bed.

Perfect home base for a peaceful ADK getaway. Lots to do in close proximity to cottage. The place was great. Very quiet. Coffee on the deck overlooking the river was a great was to start every day, and a cold one by the fire was a great way to end each day. Would definitely stay again.

Had the best time at François place had the most beautiful view to wake up to! just what I needed after a long week! Host was wonderful, friendly and responsive, highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Chris’ cottage when we came up for a weekend of biking in East Burke. Quick drive to the MTB trails. The house had everything we needed, warm shower, hose to wash bikes, fenced yard to let our dog run. Thanks for mowing! The house was clean and tidy.

This house was perfect. It is exactly what you hope for in an Air Bnb. It was absolutely immaculate inside and anything you could need was already there. My family and I had work to do on land in the area and we booked this location as a resting spot after long days of work and I'm so happy we did. I cannot stress enough how nice it was to unwind at the end of the day and look out at Lake Memphremagog through the expansive windows, while playing games with my family. It was so wonderfully quiet and peaceful. I also want to thank Ally (and the owner) for allowing us to bring our dogs with us. They loved playing outside and looking out the windows at the lake and surrounding woods. For one of our dogs it was his last trip, as he has reached the age where traveling after this will not be feasible so it was great to see him so happy there. It was truly a wonderful stay and we encourage anyone reading this to book a stay here. Thank you again for everything Ally.

Very clean and cozy cottage. Comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen, and peaceful surroundings. It was a great home base for exploring nearby attractions (we enjoyed Sutton, Douglass Beach in Knowlton, driving the Route des Vines, and visiting the Granby Zoo and Montreal Biodome with our toddler). We appreciated the family-friendly features such as the high chair, baby plates and utensils, and baby gates which gave us peace of mind as the cottage spans two floors. Fanny also was very responsive.

My mom and I celebrated her 78th birthday on the lake. Bradley wanted us to know that it might be on the cooler side as it was the end of October. The camp was actually super cozy! We enjoyed the space so , so much!! It had everything we needed. I hope to visit again!! Bradly is an outstanding host!!

Beautiful setting! Very peaceful and relaxing… just what we were looking to find. Anne described her home perfectly! We had everything we needed and more. Clear instructions were left concerning how to work appliances as well as check out details. Great location to restaurants. Would love to return someday.

Such a cute house and great location for the Mad River Valley. Check in was a breeze and house was very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer and will be back for sure!

This rustic yet modern cabin surrounded by conifers and broad-leaf trees with the sound of the nearby creek and a large deck for viewing the mountain scenery is the place to be to get unplugged. The large windows allow you to feel connected to the outside while staying inside! The firepit added to our incredible experience at this cabin. Staying here again would be a no-brainer! Peter is awesome!

Morgan is the perfect host, providing everything necessary to a magical stay in their remarkable cabin. I had complete privacy and quiet, but knew she was readily available if I had any questions or needs. The cabin itself is a wonder of architecture, with every detail carefully thought out and rendered. There are books galore and CDs, the slipper foot bathtub is amazing, and the back patio offers a peaceful view of trees and meadow. The property is dotted with wonderful sculptures by her husband, Alan. I watched the sun rise and set and walked down the very dark night road to look at the stars. The woods are my favorite place to be, and there was no shortage of local hiking trails. The general store just down the street is staffed by very friendly folks, and I bought a new favorite coffee mug made by a local artisan. In short, my stay was everything I hoped it would be, and I would highly recommend it.

We can’t thank Lisa enough for sharing her home with us, even though our stay was fairly short. Lisa was a very gracious host, very responsive, and very friendly. The cottage (and backyard) looks like it’s from a postcard - very picturesque. The surroundings are extremely calm and relaxing. The entire home was well equipped with everything we needed (cleaning supplies, condiments, towels, kitchen utensils etc.) and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the pillows even better. Also, having the pool clean and the water nice and warm was the cherry on top! We look forward to visiting Lisa’s home again, and fully take in what the area has to offer. Thank you very much Lisa!

We stayed at the Mill House on a grand highlights tour of New England, and Emily and Trevor’s place was by far our favorite accommodations. Our days were busy, and it was perfect to come back and relax by the creek. The home was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. We would return again and again if we didn’t live so far away.
