We loved staying at Azure Sunset in Mosteiros. It was pristine with three comfortable bedrooms and a beautiful backyard pool and jacuzzi. The house is located at the end of a quiet street just off the water. The views from the backyard are splendid—the rocky coast of the Atlantic. We were able to watch gorgeous sunsets from the backyard, or walk 7 minutes to Mosteiros beach, which was so special. The house was ideally located for exploring Sete Cidades, Mosteiros beach, and the Ponte de Ferraria natural thermal pools.

Marie-Louise has a beautiful accommodation in a scenic and convenient location. She provided clear communication and lots of local recommendations which enhanced our overall trip. She went above and beyond by returning my wife’s glasses which she left behind. This accommodation will be a highlight of your trip in Sao Miguel.

Espaço clean and organized. Very friendly and helpful hosts. We had an unforeseen event with the flight, it was delayed 2 hours and they were impeccable in relation to the late check-in time. They left a welcome gift that was much appreciated. The house is located in a quiet place, with private parking and a few minutes' walk to the beach. It is equipped with everything you need to spend a beautiful day on the island of São Miguel.

We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this home! The location was great making it easy to get around the island. Internet speed / WiFi was fast and air conditioning worked well. There was everything we needed for a long stay. The home was very spacious and had a lot of great amenities (a great book library, games, kitchen supplies, beach towels, toiletries, closet space, blankets, etc). The beds were comfortable and the extra bathroom was wonderful. The host was very nice, helpful and responsive. We really appreciated the delicious gifts and treats that were left for us. We also really appreciated the flexible check out. We felt safe especially with the gated parking. We would love to visit again!

My daughter and I spent a week here and I'm so glad we weren't tempted to explore any of the other islands. Sao Miguel is so beautiful and has so much to offer, especially if you like to get off the beaten track and are prepared to drive through narrow streets and walk up & down inclines! Lagoa itself has all you may need within walking distance, and access to a modern mall and supermarket within a short driving distance. We tried several of the local restaurants and were not disappointed with any of them. It is a seafood lover's paradise. The one that stood out for us was O Rui but it was a close race. Francisco's home is exactly as pictured and described. It is well furnished, with new appliances, a nicely equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The view of the Atlantic ocean cannot be surpassed, especially from the top floor. Francisco was helpful and generous, and responded to our intermittent questions in a timely manner. We were so very sad to leave!

Maria Ines is the best host possible! She was kind and responsive, always giving great suggestions and tips about the island! She was flexible with the check in to accommodate our early flight timing. Our stay at the Airbnb was wonderful, it was quiet and peaceful- not to mention beautiful. I would absolutely stay there again if I visit the island! The house was immaculate and entices you to relax there when you’re not exploring the island. Maria went above and beyond, even when we left some clothing behind at the Airbnb, she connected with her friends on the island to return it back!! It was unbelievable. She has many connections throughout Sao Miguel and a wealth of knowledge to truly enhance your visit! Could not recommend her more.

Our stay was perfect with the gorgeous ocean view to wake up to every morning. House was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures showed. Hosts were great and very responsive. There are places to swim in the ocean very close by and parking was always easily accessible at the end of the street. It was close to the city and a great place to stay to explore the whole island.

Our group collectively agreed this was one of the best airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Amazing location overlooking both the ocean and the mountains and felt very peaceful and private. The rooftop patio and hot tub can’t be beat. Miguel was very responsive and available but we had no issues. The house was very clean and spacious, having 3 full bathrooms for our group and access to laundry for our trip was such a luxury. Would 100% stay here again!
