The house is very nice with a great lake view. Spacious and clean, with a beautiful garden and pool. Location is very quiet and you need to drive to the more touristy places in Como but we definitely liked that!

The house has a fantastic location between the vineyards of Brissago. The architecture, the interior and the rooms are very beautiful and we liked them very much - we love puristic design. Many details in the house and around it make the house very special. When you sit on the terrace in the evening, grill, the crickets chirp and you look at the lake with a glass of wine - then this atmosphere is something unique - which you cannot buy. Eva - the house fairy - is super friendly and helpful and gave us many tips. Mille Grazie for the lovely stay at Casa Largo. We will be happy to come back!

Beautiful surroundings and well-worth the walk into town (there’s a very easy/safe path from this property into town - just expect to get some good exercise walking back up).

We had a wonderful stay at Elena’s place in Lake Como! The view was absolutely breathtaking – even better than we expected – and the peaceful location made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The neighborhood felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The home was exactly as pictured: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was there, and Elena was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we had a question. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. We can’t wait to come back!

This home was honestly such a dream! The host was easy to work with and provided a very helpful video for check in. The parking lot/suitable drop off point for a driver is a bit of a distance from the house, on a cobblestone walkway with stairs along the way. It was a lot of work to get my luggage to the house but SO WORTH IT! It’s absolutely gorgeous and as pictured. The outdoor areas are all stunning and lush - I loved sitting outside for coffee, breakfast, and watching the sunset in the evenings (but bring bug spray)! It rained most of my stay so I didn’t use the jacuzzi or outdoor shower much, but they were functional (I checked) and looked lovely. The ferry station and bus stops are about a 5 min walk away and a local market around 3 minutes away. The couple that owns the store was so sweet! I walked to 3 different restaurants nearby for dinner. They were within 3-15 minutes walking distance and wonderful food! This will absolutely be my first choice for a future Lake Como stay!

O. M. G. Andrea was the best host! When you think “host with the most” that’s him. He was the most responsive, kind, generous and amazing host we have ever encountered. The place was GORGEOUS. With the most wonderful view and right down the road was a perfect “beach” where we ate at a few times and spent the day to soak up the sun and water. He checked in on us every morning and evening making sure we didn’t need anything and offered the most generous things. We can’t wait to come back and visit Andrea and his beautiful home again. 10/10 recommend (even though this place is so perfect, part of me wants to gate-keep it 😉) BOOK THIS PLACE! Literal perfection.

Simona was an incredible host! We stayed at her home in Lake Como for our honeymoon and we could not have picked a better place- the house was beautiful with gorgeous mountain views and the area was quiet and peaceful. We took the ferry to get to more tourist-y locations, and Simona was wonderful about giving us recommendations for places to go and things to do both in the town we were staying in and around the lake. The house was clean and she even provided us with a couple of groceries and a pasta recipe. The location in Carate Urio is walkable, but you do have to get used to lots of stairs and walking on the side of roads. There are a couple restaurants and a small market that worked great for what we needed for the week since we traveled to different towns around Lake Como. Once you get used to the ferry system it's so easy to travel as the dock is only a ten minute walk. It was a perfect stay and I would most definitely recommend Simona's Casina delle Rose!

We had the best time at the lake house! Everything was great and we loved swimming in the lake right after waking up or just whenever we felt like it! Maria is super nice and quickly responded to our messages.

Naomi's cottage in the forest is a dream! Equipped with everything you need, even to cook for yourself, and beautifully located. Naomi was super sweet and even provided us with a small welcome gift! All in all, a wonderful place to Relax, explore Lugano and its surroundings or the surrounding mountains! I'm sure we'll be back!

I recently stayed at Elena's house with my partner and in-laws for a few days while we were attending a wedding nearby. We had an amazing stay, despite the heat! The views from the balconies/terrace were perfect. The amenities and house exceeded our expectations, and the daily visits from the adorable cat provided some unexpectedly-needed pet therapy. Elena was out of town when we visited, however, her co-host (Laura) was quick to answer our questions and gave us many recommendations for things nearby.

OMG we’re coming back asap!! The family (10 people) spent a great time there to celebrate my wife successful PhD defence. Highly recommended!

The place was insanely good! The amenities in particular were above average. The house corresponded to our ideas and the pictures. The driveway to the house was really very steep, so you should be careful which cars you arrive with. Communication with the landlord was also excellent. Very friendly and quick feedback. We would come back.

We spent 7 nights in Chiara's apartment and felt very comfortable from the beginning. The apartment is spacious and was super clean. The kitchen is very well equipped and we didn't miss anything in the bathroom. We were able to park our bikes in a lockable room without any problems. You can't reach the accommodation directly by car, you should note that. The terrace is great with a fantastic view. Chiara helped us at all times and was always available. The privacy in the accommodation is absolutely guaranteed and invites you to relax. The train station and the lake can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. We would book again anytime. Serene location that is even more beautiful than the pictures. The proactive instructions were super helpful and our family enjoyed the walk to the villa and throughout the lovely neighborhood. The view outside each window, the patio and the villa itself was pristine. We enjoyed wine and snacks with a phenomenal view and peace. Absolutely loved staying here!!! The home is almost as gorgeous as the view from the balconies! The ONLY problem is if you have rolling luggage the stairs from the c30 bus are pretty steep and small all through out Nesso. Definitely would recommend the c32 bus

The place is lovely and just as it looks in the pictures. We were traveling with four kids, and the house was spacious enough to meet all our needs. Parking in the village can be a bit challenging but you can always find a spot after a short wait of 10-15 minutes when someone leaves. There are several hiking trails around including a beautiful waterfall that's about an hour's walk from the house. The outdoor area features a grill and has a spectacular view, making it a peaceful and beautiful spot to relax. Jacqueline, our host, was very nice and helpful, living in the same house downstairs. We experienced some issues with the electricity failing a few times when the washing machine and oven were in use; however, with some care to avoid simultaneous usage, we could avoid this. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, and the 4/5G coverage was spotty in the area. Overall, it is a wonderful place with a supportive host, making it an excellent choice for a stay in the Como Lake area.
