The Chapel Hill Forest House

Rob was super cool! He gave a lot of helpful instructions, and I even got a greeting while approaching the place. It was soooooo peaceful, and looked amazing. There was a next bed, that I really enjoyed. Also, there was lot of windows which I love. I’m a sucker for natural light. Oh, and I got to see some deer before leaving. I would def come back to relax! Thanks Rob for such a nice place.

Cozy Cabin nestled in woods, 12 minutes from UNC

BarbaraRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a wonderful stay at Barbara's. Words really don't do justice to how lovely and special her home is. Such a beautiful house, in a lovely setting - felt private and peaceful and tucked away in the woods, but it was easy to get to and minutes from everything. And Barbara was so welcoming and responsive. She made us feel so at home. And her recommendations were wonderful. She even brought us some local tomatoes, knowing how thrilled we were with them. We hope to return to this special place sometime. Thank you Barbara for sharing your home and your wonderful hospitality.

The Dolly

AmelieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our stay at the Dolly! Mandy is a super friendly and responsive host. Lovely extra touches like the fresh eggs and coffee/tea for a nice little breakfast. Also, drawers are stocked with all the woodsy essentials… bug spray, flashlights, oh and a blowtorch for a quick fire start, if needed! Once you get used to the composting toilet it’s NBD, but I was glad I was there with my bff (better to be comfy with someone!). We also loved visiting with the animals on the farm and the secluded fire pit. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. Thanks Mandy!

Tranquil cabin in Chapel Hill

We enjoyed the beautiful setting, welcoming environment and —of course— the stunning and amusing peacocks. This is one of the best airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in and I would highly recommend.

Tiny home on private 35 acre farm.

MelindaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
From our initial interaction everything went very smoothly. My husband and I were looking for a peaceful weekend getaway and this checked every box. We fell in love the moment we turned in the drive. There were fresh flowers and COOKIES, as well as various beverages in the fridge. The home is beautiful and thoughtfully furnished. It's small but definitely cozy. And the surroundings are gorgeous! It rained so we didn't get a chance to use the fire pit but we definitely loved sitting outside and relaxing in the quiet afternoon. We are already planning another trip for the Fall. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Historic & Charming Pittsboro Home w/ Fireplaces

What a lovely home — perfect for our gathering with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. Very clean and comfortable, with a beautiful front porch and side deck. Peaceful setting with horses at the property next door and easy access to the Haw River down the road. The host was wonderful—responsive and thoughtful (a welcome basket of snacks was much appreciated!).

"Forest Garden" A One Bedroom Retreat

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
If I could give this 10 stars rather than only 5 stars, I would!! David was such a responsive and kind host. It was lovely chatting with him and hearing the history of the place and the property and the love and care him and his family have put into it. The Forest Garden cabin was so serene and tranquil and truly was a place of refuge (also the decor/art is fabulous). It was spotless when I arrived, had everything I needed to cook meals and just feel right at home. Sitting on the porch with my coffee each morning looking at the woods was a dream. I came for a little retreat to clear my head and left feeling so much more at peace so thank you David for creating such a gem of a place!! I will 100% be back.
