This is a private rural retreat with a fenced yard, chimenea near the covered porch and private entrance. It is an easy drive to the city yet on a small farm with the main house, animals, star gazing and a tranquil feel.

Charming apartment located on an exquisite equestrian estate. Drive up the 1/4 mile winding drive way lined with 100 year old camellias and azaleas to relaxation station. For those looking to explore nature there are trails cut out on the side and two ponds if you choose to walk around. There is also a creek that wraps the back half of this tranquil property. If you want to get out we are only 12-15 minutes away from downtown Covington. Where you can shop, eat, bike, & explore the city.
What guests are saying:“We loved our stay here. The pictures honestly do not do it justice. The view is breathtaking, it’s tranquil and peaceful and just so inviting. It’s a bit scary driving at night because it’s a long winding road and it’s dark. However, when we got to the location, it was very well lit and we had no trouble checking in at all. It’s very, very spacious and the beds we’re extremely comfortable. Amy was a wonderful host! Very responsive and checked in on us from time to time. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. We will definitely be staying again.”
My place is close to 45 minutes away from New Orleans and just minutes off I-12. You’ll love my place because of the nice neighborhood, cozy bed, TV, mini-fridge and Wi-Fi. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The room is on the 2nd floor along with the bathroom. Please park in driveway. We have two dogs (boxers) that stay on the 1st floor.

They also offered us coffee, as well as some of Kim's "once a year" homemade crawfish soup, which was delicious. The room was cozy, the bed was comfy, and the bathroom was clean. Our favorite part though was the two happy, energetic boxers, Luke and Bo. Thanks everyone for a fabulous trip!”
