Our team had an incredible stay for our Staff Workshop! The house was absolutely beautiful, providing the perfect setting for a productive and relaxing retreat. Katie was an amazing host—so accommodating and attentive to our needs. We truly appreciated her hospitality. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful stay. The hosts were extremely communicative. The space is 100% as described and as it seems in photos. Driving distance to great restaurants, shops, and hiking. The eclectic decor was fun and we found ourselves continuing to notice something new even until the end of the stay. The back deck is the perfect place to relax, read, and enjoy your morning coffee. Our only regret is not spending MORE time at the home. Will likely return and would absolutely recommend to anyone.

We had a great weekend stay at Katherine’s. The Esopus Bend Nature Preserve is only a ten minute drive and we really appreciated the local recommendations provided in the binder!

We stayed here on our way to Stowe to break up our long drive with an 8 and 2 year old. It ended up being a wonderful mini trip that we didn't want to leave. The house exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, cleanliness, and amenities. And the location was excellent - about 10 to 12 min to the nearest grocery store and downtown with restaurants, Edith Wharton's estate about 20 min away, and Great Barrington/Stockbridge were easily accessible for day trips. We plan to come back for skiing, and to take advantage of the lake activities in the summer. The only downside was the busy road, as mentioned in the listing, but the traffic quieted down in the evening and it didn't affect our sleep at night with the bedrooms located in the back of the house (husband is a very light sleeper; we did bring and use sound machines just in case).

Hands down-best rental experience I’ve ever had! If I could give Amy “6” stars in all the categories I would have. From the moment I reached out to her to ask questions about the rental through our stay, she was so responsive, reached out ahead of time when she knew something did or did not meet our criteria-which indicates how much she pays attention to her guests’ wishes-and was so kind throughout! The house is immaculate, beautifully furnished and full of love. From the moment you pull into the driveway you can tell how much care Amy takes in this house and providing a wonderful experience for her guests. And when you rent this house, you won’t need a thing! She has literally thought of everything!! We made lasting memories and will definitely be back! Thank you Amy!

For our fourth stay at Katie and Greg's, we were just as satisfied as the first x3 trips! And we're already planning our 5th! Truly a gem of a home and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed here 2 night with our dog and had a great time. The cabin was super cozy and had everything we needed during our stay. Special shoutout to the couch, which was extremely comfortable for late night movie watching! If you are looking for a quiet weekend away to do some hiking, I would certainly recommend staying here. The town of Becket is very rural and food options can be somewhat limited but the house has a full kitchen and grill to use if that's more your style. Overall 5 stars would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Mitchell was very responsive and communication was easy. The house is near butternut and GB. Hopefully we will come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors.

We had a wonderful time! The location is so beautiful by the lake, our dog Bailey loved his daily walks and the house was absolutely perfect. Alison was a great host, so responsive, friendly and accomodating. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at the Chickadee over Memorial Day weekend! The weather wasn’t totally in our favor so sadly we couldn’t enjoy the nearby lake, but we filled our time with short trips into Bennington and Wilmington. The sunroom is a great spot to relax and the beds are super comfy! We were bummed that the outdoor shower had broken right before our stay, but Sarah did her best to try to get a handyman out and offered us a small discount when it couldn’t be fixed. We’ll just have to come back another time to enjoy all of the outdoor amenities!

A truly amazing experience. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Amanda & John’s home. You won’t find a better, more cared for, more beautifully appointed home. Everything you could ask for and more. Super kind, responsive hosts and every detail is considered. Great WiFi, too. If you’re looking for an experience in a spacious landscape, in quietude, with stars up above, this is the place.

Beautiful, peaceful and private. Nicole was very to super attentive, they also left a birthday balloon on the kitchen table since it was my daughter birthday. The house has everything you will need. It looks small but actually very accommodative! FYI : Nighttime can be very windy around 9-10 pm we were unable to stay outside for too long, but it also probably depends on the weather and the dates, but that didn’t ruin our stay😁 we had a lot of fun on the hot tub and the kayak 🩷🌈🌳…

Enjoyed our stay, the house was very clean and neat! Perfect weekend to unplug and spend time with family. We also enjoyed the Indian Hills state park nearby and their cidery.

This AirBNB was awesome for our family vacation. Lots of space to sit around and hang out and watch tv. Everything was super clean, beds were comfortable, amazing amenities, great view of the lake, host even left us some cookies as a treat! The host provided detailed check in and check out instructions and was always responsive and proactive in ensuring we enjoyed our experience. We loved it and would stay here again!

This is an old historic house that has some updated renovations and some historic features. The layout was perfect for sharing with my brothers and their families. We rented the whole house and we could not have asked for a better set up. The hosts were super responsive and went above and beyond. Beds were comfy and the kitchens/kitchenette very well equipped with not just coffee/filters, S&P, & oil, but foil and other spices as well. High quality products (soap/shampoo/conditioner) in the 4 and 1/2 baths. While the house is located near the street which means there is street noise this was noted in the listing and we were familiar with the area so we were prepared. I would have loved to take advantage of the bikes, canoes, or the many games provided but we were busy with planned family activities and never got a chance. There are fast food restaurants, convenience store and pharmacy within walking distance as well. Plenty of parking. Would definitely rent again for a similar purpose!

We had a slight delay to our trip due to health issues but Lisena and James were very understanding, flexible and caring. Very flexible with our check in and out during our stay since we unfortunately had to shorten it. We are looking forward to planning another night soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We visited the general store right down the road, definite must see, very cute friendly family owned store and was impressed with finding all local milk and products and also gluten free options for baking etc. we also went to Stockbridge to explore the town and to hilltop orchard.

Joe’s place was a great place for us to gather from three different states to celebrate a birthday. It’s a beautiful property. Top notch linens, great kitchen, comfy beds, and a very comfortable living space. Also, the grassy area in back is surrounded by bird houses with some truly spectacular birds. We enjoyed our stay. Joe was incredibly responsive and helpful.
