Tapada da Raia has 35 acres of land, in the Natural Park of Serra de São Mamede (being the last Portuguese house, because it is bordered to Spain). For years it served as an anti-stress refuge for the family, who today decided to open the doors for those who want to spend relaxing days in the nature. La casa está dividida en dos plantas completamente independientes separadas por una escalera exterior que da acceso a vuestro alojamiento y la piscina. El acceso a la parcela y las zonas exteriores son compartidas, y estaremos encantados de teneros tan cerca, pero al mismo tiempo, con toda la intimidad de estar en plantas distintas e independientes

We are nestled in the beautiful rolling countryside just between the city of Castelo Branco & Fundao. This beautiful yurt is situated right on the edge of our land. In a lovely peaceful space between the trees, with a view to the Gardunha mountain. We offer a double bed, small kitchenette with pots & pans, gas cooker, fridge with small freezer compartment, compost toilet, shower & wood for the log burner in colder months. Towels & linens provided. Discounts for weekly bookings.

No coração do Parque Natural da Serra de S.Mamede, está rodeado de uma grande variedade de flora autóctone, como Sobreiros, Oliveiras, Carvalhos ou árvores de fruto. Atravessado pelo rio Sever e uma ribeira que convida a banhos refrescantes pelas suas inúmeras quedas de água. Dispõe ainda de duas verdadeiras piscinas naturais, antigos tanques de rega reaproveitados.

Stone cottage in the Natural Park Serra S. Mamede

Our little stone cottage lies on a stream and has views of the beautiful hills and meadows full of olive and cork trees. In the garden you will find some fruit trees, herbs and flowers. Not far there is a nice waterfall to enjoy hot summer days. This is a peaceful place to relax. Here you can get immersed in nature's beauty, enjoy the sky full of stars and listen to the sheep's bells chiming.

Apenas foi incorporada a inevitável modernidade mas nunca entrando em conflito com a sua arquitectura tradicional.
