Hidden along the creek, this Tiny Escape offers everything to set the tone for your "tiny get-a-way", "big take-a-way": three miles to the Town of Augusta, right on the Ohio River-- just a jaunt down the road (one turn, too)! When not dining in Augusta, checking out the new "B Line" Distilleries" and Baker-Bird Winery, enjoy our fire pit, donkeys, restored barn with meadow view patio, biking, fishing, creekside arbor, games and up-cycled farm. Be as connected as you like. . . or not--lol!
“A "tiny home" is not perhaps perfectly right for everyone, but it was perfect for us (two 61-year-olds) and met and exceeded our expectations. Make sure to bring apples or carrots to feed all three donkeys, who will become fast friends, fast. The setting is incomparably lovely. We were there in the middle of a drought, so the creek's water level was down, but it was still quite beautiful. I can only imagine what it sounds like when the water's running and the air, crisp. We took off for walks, we took off on drives into the country, we crossed the ferry twice, we sipped George Clooney's tequila, though not with him, and overall, had a gay-old time. We enjoyed a fire in the fire-pit, we used the one-burner hot-plate to boil camp coffee, and cooked nice breakfasts both days. We took showers, we washed dishes. The "tiny home" was perfect for us. We're excited to return. Celine is a perfect hostess.”

“We had an excellent time at this treehouse. We tried all 3. We had a fire in the woodstove and it kept us really toasty all evening. We had watched the episode from Treehouse Masters after we returned home. The kids were so excited to see Pete Nelson and the area we had stayed on the episode. They thoroughly explored the property and loved the creek. We had a campfire all afternoon and enjoyed the cool temps but beautiful sunshine. We ate all our meals at the treehouses and we had no problem with heating water and washing dishes and using cookstoves. The kids tried the treeclimbing with Bill and enjoyed every minute. We would all like to return sometime when the leaves are on the trees but not too hot out either. Just to see how the view changes and enjoy the peace and quiet.”
