My Grandmas is located in one of the most beautiful and privileged spots of Douro: Ferradosa. This used to be the house of my paternal grandmother bought after her death by my maternal grandmother to me, her only granddaughter. What was once an inhabited village back in the days where used to live the workers of the wine, olive oil, almond & CP, gave place nowadays to a peaceful & empty place. Proudly located at an UNESCO World Heritage site we wait for you all to share the magic of this place.

The house has only one bedroom but in the living room there is a sofa bed that can also be used. Coffee machine: Dolce Gusto It does not have MICRONDAS, HAIRFRIER, FREEZER, because the batteries CANNOT handle it. Mario ha sido un anfitrión excelente y nos ha hecho recomendaciones muy útiles tanto de planes para hacer por la zona como de sitios para comer. La casa me ha sorprendido gratamente, es sencilla pero no falta de nada y ha superado mis expectativas. Conserva la esencia de cuando se construyó en los años 60 y eso le da mucho encanto. Además tiene un terraza exterior donde poder relajarse disfrutando de las vistas y de la tranquilidad de la zona. Sin duda volvería a alojarme aquí.

This house is exactly as described and a perfect peaceful getaway. The view is incredible. The house is well proportioned with three large double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. We had an extra camp bed put up in one room, and there was also a cot in there (although we didn’t use it). Efficient air conditioning and nice kitchen. There isn’t anything else in the area but this suited us just fine! Nearest shop is in Albondega De Fe (10 mins) bur a proper supermarket is in Mogadouro (20 mins).

Ana María ha estado pendiente en todo el momento desde que reservamos el alojamiento y respondiendo amablemente a todas las preguntas y dudas. El contacto local (Jorge) muy atento. Gracias

Gostamos muito dos dias que passamos nesta casa. Todo o espaço está bem decorado, limpo e muito acolhedor. O anfitrião foi muito amável na forma como nós tratou, sempre muito responsivo e prestável. Aproveito para agradecer publicamente toda a sua simpatia e tudo aquilo com que nos presenteou, como pão, queijo, bebidas, alheiras, etc. Não estávamos à espera de tanta amabilidade, o que nos deixou agradavelmente surpreendidos. Sem dúvida que voltaremos, porque a acrescentar ao espaço muito agradável as áreas circundantes são de uma beleza que merece ser vista e explorada ao máximo. Recomendo a 100%
