Lovely modern apartment with view on the Alps

Our apartment is a 5 min walk from the train station of Bussigny and a 10 min train ride to the center of Lausanne. From the apartment you can go for nice forest and country side walks. There is also a running/fitness trail in the forest nearby. Our place is 10 min car ride to the lake (lac Leman), where you can enjoy the beach, water activities and lake side paths . We would be glad to give you more tourist advice if you desire.

Diego is a great host, and his place was really pleasant and clean. You have beds in the same room as the dining area and kitchen, but you can seclude your area with curtains, so you have privacy. You can use the kitchen, bathroom, and even the terrace, which was really nice. The location is good, quiet, close to the Sauvabelin forest and it's easy to get to the center by bus and metro.

Cathy is the "Superhost"! From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed. Her modern apartment was clean and well-organized. My room was comfortable and quiet, and I was able to relax as if I were in my own home. I stayed for two weeks while attending EPFL. Cathy is very sociable, and I enjoyed sharing meals and conversations with her, while she also respected my privacy. And I was also comforted by her cute cat! I already miss the time! I’ll be coming back!

We had a great time at Felipe’s! If you’re willing to have a small bit of a walk from the main station of Lausanne it’s a great place that’s clean and more. It’s also well placed in terms of the main streets of Lausanne. Felipe was also very friendly, very responsive and always helpful :).

This place is located in a peaceful, serene neighborhood, and it looked like the photos. A few minor notes: the bedroom window had been left open on arrival, letting in mosquitos and a moth. The bathroom had a few stray hairs, but otherwise it was very clean. I booked this place partly for laundry. Unfortunately, when I needed to use it, Sandrine was not at home and suggested getting detergent from a supermarket. I was confused because the washing and drying machines were listed as amenity. Without a Swiss SIM card, you can't buy a bus ticket. You can buy train tickets on the SBB app, but they're outrageously expensive. Hotels in Switzerland give free public transport passes, and walking in summer here is brutal. I wish I'd known beforehand. Sandrine kindly helped me figure out the public transportation to the Geneva airport (1.5 hrs or 120-180 CHF by Uber), and I'm very grateful for her. Overall, I had a good stay, but knowing these details beforehand would've made it even better.
