Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We are located 2km from the Senegalese border and 1km before Kartong. We are located right next to the beach with direct access , yet still only 300m from the main highway! We have a beautiful elevated view of the Atlantic ocean with the best sunsets. A wonderful natural environment .focusing on eco living with comfort , perfect for those who appreciate the wonders of nature. We also get large camping tents for hire with toilets.

Karamba Apartment - peaceful retreat in orchard

A peaceful retreat, set in a 4 hectare piece of land with easy access to the village and several routes to the beach. This is a self contained apartment with a verandah, salon, bedroom, bathroom & well equipped kitchen. Plus a large roof terrace. We have Solar lighting, fridge and freezer. Charging facilities are available in each room. We also have 5 additional double rooms available in another house, at a lower price, one with private en suite, others with 2 shared bathrooms.

A modern bathroom features white tiled walls and a light-colored floor. A wooden vanity with a circular sink is positioned next to a rectangular mirror. A small wooden stool and a towel rack are also present, providing practical amenities.

The KASA HIBISCUS we immediately felt good there!!! This is a charming little house typical of the area with hot water, for 4-5 people located about 50 meters from the beach and a short walk from the village of Kafountine. This haven of peace enjoys a privileged location not overlooked. It will allow you to fully enjoy your stay in the area and take long walks along the coastline.

Complete House in the jungle, near the sea.

Its a house in the jungle, near the sea, and not to far of village ( 1'5 km), is very peaceful and beautiful place with a big and clean garden. Here you can find the tranquility that you need. it is a new house with all the services to be well and confortable. If you like the original travels you will love it!! It is ideal to know and share knowledge with the neighbors of the area.

We had a pleasant stay at Nathalie's place with the family, Nathalie was super responsive, the accommodation is a haven of pay this is where you have to come to cut off the world. The house is close to the beach, you also have local small shops around. Binta the caretaker was extremely kind and does you a favor at any time. We strongly recommend!

Our experience couldn't have gone better. The Mama Maria hotel made us feel right at home. Amador is a phenomenal host who in addition to his friendliness, availability, attention and care for our comfort, respects his guests' space without ever letting us feel that we are unaccompanied, which is an incredible balance! Your staff is tireless and with a frank smile. We would recommend staying at Mama Maria. We left more than one host, two friends. Well, because they treated us so well.

Jaliya Camp is a wonderful place for me. We liked it there very much, we really felt very comfortable. Located on the edge of Abene with lots of nature around it, we could relax well and enjoy our vacation very much. We especially enjoyed eating together, relaxing in the hammock and listening to nature or the beautiful Kora music. Just behind the Bolong, it goes to the beach and can walk for miles by the sea. In Abene, which for me is like a large garden, we spent very nice days with friendly people and lots of musk and dance. The food at Jaliya Camp is very good and the staff super nice, helpful and relaxed. I was very happy to meet Sousou and Maher in person, I'm a big fan of their music and next time I want to join one of their retreats with yoga and dance. It was really a wonderful time and I'd love to come back😊Anja

At Sarah and Thom's you will find a family atmosphere, cheerful and international. They cultivate a beautiful garden with permaculture and always find a palm, banana tree or mango tree under which to rest to enjoy their library. Around the bar are all the nationalities for a pétanques tournament or a reggae evening or simply sharing an encounter with the locals. Sarah and Thom are full of resources to organize tours in the area and you will love Sarah's food. I loved my short stay, I will return with my children because everything is welcoming since they have a 2 year old boy.
