Blacksmith's workshop

In ancient times, the house was a blacksmith's workshop with his small adjacent home. Recently renovated in a contemporary style, it has become a two-story residence of about 80 square meters. On the ground floor is the living area with the dining table, kitchen, bathroom and a wine pantry, reached by a wooden staircase with staggered steps. A second black iron staircase leads to the intermediate mezzanine where the study is organized. The balustrade becomes the worktop and overlooks the double height. On the first floor, there are two bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom. The floors are in resin-coated concrete and part with tiles in recycled cement paste; the upper floor is finished with parquet. Particularly unique are the vintage furnishings, the lighting of the rooms and the contemporary art paintings by a young Sicilian artist-designer. The house is equipped with winter and summer air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV and dishwasher. A few kilometers away is the beach of Porto Palo (Blue Flag) with the possibility of boat trips, ultralight flights and bike rentals. Nearby, less than a 25-minute drive, you can play golf at the beautiful Golf Verdura Resort. Great location.Very close to local bars , restaurants , shop and of course the beach.Great spot for our 18 year old daughter.We were confident that it was safe at night.Great outdoor space to eat,sunbathe and play cards till early hours.Appartment could benefit from some upgrade but owners are aware of it.Bathroom was freshly refurbished which was important to us.Very friendly and attentive hosts.We would stay there again.

Great location directly on the main road and therefore very easy to reach any destination by car. Beautiful and clean house as in the photos, on the first day we had problems with the hot water and in a very short time they fixed everything. Welcoming and kind.

I highly recommend Antonino's chalet! Excellent hospitality and cleanliness of the apartment. The chalet looks exactly as pictured: very nice and well maintained. The owner welcomed us with great flexibility and was always super helpful and present throughout the stay. The view is crazy. Although there is no air conditioning, we were still provided with two fans by Antonino. The chalet is located a few minutes drive from Bovo Marina beach, very large and with parking. Overall we had a great time and were really happy with our vacation.

We rented the vacation home for a family weekend. The location of the house is convenient because it is close (about 20 or 30 minutes) to various points of interest (Scala dei Turchi, Valley of the Temples). The beach of Bovo Marina, a two-minute drive away, was also pleasant due to the clean sea and the tranquility of the place. The house turned out to be perfect: lots of outdoor spaces to relax with a wonderful view, barbecue available for grilling, comfortable bedrooms and a large bathroom. Everything was super clean and well organized. Mrs. Lilla was very kind and helpful. In general, everything was perfect and we recommend this property especially for holidays with family or friends. We hope to return next summer.

Wonderful accommodation! We were staying for a week and it immediately felt good upon arrival. Nice house to get into the holiday mood, we really loved the outdoor space that came with the house. The house offers everything you need, the only minor issue we had was the bed (we’re two tallies: 1.90cm/1.82cm). For us it was on the small side, but it was doable and cozy! Seccagrande is a lovely small town, we enjoyed staying here. If you are looking for an bussy boulevard, this isn’t the right place. There are a few options to eat/drink, nothing to crazy. We really came here for the peace and quietness. We liked it, we definitely recommend this for others guests to stay at 😊.

A Sicilian dream! This home was immaculately clean in every corner, comfortable and cozy due to the interior and exterior design of the indoor and outdoor furniture, bedding, amenities and decor beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail of each object, the location- breathtaking and away from the normal everyday rush. The panoramic view gives you the landscape of the Sicilian island, sunset on the Tyrrhenian Sea, rolling hills and mountains all while being surrounded by the peaceful stillness of an olive grove. Thanks to Maria Renata for making this trip a truly relaxing and enjoyable too short dream come true! A special thank you as well to Lina who was so sweet and welcoming with her warm friendliness making us feel right at home when she checked us in and out!

Communication with Maria Elena was via the known messaging service and she always responded quickly. She was able to give good tips. She has very nice neighbors who are Maria Elena's friends and were also able to briefly explain everything to us. On foot you are quickly at a beach that is okay. But there are nicer beaches nearby, which you have to drive to by car. In front of the door was an exciting cat that my fellow travelers fed.
