Waterfront vacation rentals in Bonaire

Nicole and Manuel are wonderful hosts! They were very friendly, informative, and welcoming. Nicole is helpful with supplying a plug converter and that’s a lifesaver! (i’m visiting from the US and it’s my bad that I didn’t fully research to know i needed a universal adapter for 110v). She is also an amazing baker! Their place is relaxing and exactly like the photos. Id love to come stay with them again <3

what a beautiful spot. condo was in a great location with restaurants within walking distance and close to many snorkling sites (island is very small so driving was very quick to all locations) we enjoyed the deck and spent many afternoons in the hammock and reading on the deck... always a nice breeze . we found the mosquitos very hungry in the evenings but repellent and citronella candles helped. would have liked screens on all windows and patio door but ended up closing doors and having to put on air conditioner to prevent mosquitos in house. kitchen was well equipped but could have used a good knife sharpener. we had a few issues with laundry room but quickly addressed by Pierre.. (condo manager) . Pierre was quick to help and always responded to any texts . he addressed issues quickly and efficiently. we loved our time at condo and thank you for sharing your home.

La Elegancia penthouse is a nicely furnished apartment with high end kitchen appliances and many amenities. The A/C in the living room and bedrooms works well. The WiFi is super quick. The location is excellent with spectacular ocean views. My scuba diving husband appreciated the rinse tanks and locker for his gear. There is an easy ocean entrance for divers or snorkelers in front of the apartment. Greetje, the apartment manager, was extremely helpful and responded quickly. She always had a smile and kind words.

Caren was a great host. She really made us feel at home. She went above and beyond in many ways. We would love to stay here again.

Excellente localisation, beaucoup de choses à distance de marche, dont la petite rue principale à 5 minutes à peine. L'appartement est situé directement en face du quai où accostent les bateaux de croisière. Intéressant comme spectacle, mais ça occupe beaucoup d'espace. L'appartement est spacieux et plutôt bien équipé. L'air climatisé dans les deux chambres a été très apprécié. Mariska est un hôte efficace, elle a répondu rapidement à nos demandes (ex: deuxième ensemble de clés, déplacement d'un échafaud installé sans pré-avis devant notre fenêtre, etc..). Petit bémol considérant le prix: le tout aurait besoin d'être rafraîchi (ex: fenêtres peu étanches, pomme de douche instable, draps). Il est utile de savoir que les savons, shampooings, savon pour lessive, lave-vaisselle...ne sont pas fournis. Finalement, il aurait été apprécié d'avoir un peu d'information sur les restaurants, les sites de snorkeling, les différentes activités et excursions.

This was wonderful. Bonaire is a beautiful place with a lovely, laid back vibe and fabulous snorkeling sites all over the place at no cost. Then on top of it, our airbnb was so nicely set up that it added to the positive experience - not just a place to rest between our outside experiences. There are so many things that we loved about this place, way beyond the view/location, spotless housekeeping and comfy beds. So many little things that were just what we needed, when we needed it: the kitchen has all the usual items but also has very organized drawers with the extras - food storage containers, clips and wrap; a large selection of go cups organized with lids; a first aid drawer; shopping bags & more. Multiple overhead fans plus vented windows allowed the perfect breezes to cool us naturally all week. Beach towels, go chairs, excellent reef and fish books. Plenty of pillows & towels and storage space in bdrms and baths. So much more - but I am out of space! Can't wait to return!

The place was wonderful; very clean and had all the essentials anyone would need to stay for a week. The pool was very clean plus it was very close to town which made getting to town by walking very nice. The dive locker was great along with the area to wash dive wear.

Het verblijf bij Kas Hamaka was fijn. Audrey dacht heel goed mee met mijn planning en het stallen van mijn bagage. Het appartement was schoon en van alles voorzien. Het terrein is erg fijn en zorgt voor rust, maar je bent zo lopend in het centrum van Kralendijk. Er is meer dan genoeg parkeerruimte. En snorkelen voor de deur. Zowel voor vakantie als zakenreis is het zeer geschikt.

La casa es fantástica, con todas las comodidades necesarias y cerca de las mejores playas para ir a relajarse. La piscina tiene mucha intimidad y se agradece. Al no haber tanto tránsito de aviones, que esté tan cerca del aeropuerto no es una incomodidad, aunque si son más ruidosos los bomberos justo en frente. Sin ninguna duda, lo repetiría.

Excellent dive location. The porch is where we spent nearly the entire time. The Iguana family out front provided a lot of entertainment in the yard.

Perfect! Could not have asked for a better host, a better home or a better location! We will absolutely be back!!

We hebben een geweldige vakantie gehad.

We loved our stay at Casa Grande. The view was amazing and we had some beautiful sunsets. Paula and her husband were so welcoming and helpful. The dive patio was excellent and the beds were so comfortable. We especially enjoyed the location, right around the corner from Dive Friends Delfins. Our kids finished their Padi certs with them at Delfins pool and Yellow Submarine and it was an outstanding experience. We enjoyed Sebastians at Sorobon, Ocean Oasis, Delfins beachfront bar, and Pizza Mare especially. Van den Tweel was great to shop for meals. Thank you Ann & Paula!

Es war alles wie beschrieben und Caprice und Isabel waren stets sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und immer erreichbar. Sie halfen beim Suchen von Spots zum Klamotten kaufen wegen eines verloren gegangenen Koffers, gaben explizite Wegbeschreibungen zum lokalen Hausarzt Service Spots (wegen eines kleinen Leguan-Bisses 😂 auch dort waren übrigens alle super nett) und halfen bei der Autovermietung. Es gab wirklich nichts, was nicht geklappt hätte oder unstimmig gewesen wäre. Vielen lieben Dank nochmals an beide. Sogar beim Check out war Isabel sehr nett und wir durften den Tag noch nutzen, weil unser Flug erst abends ging. Das Haus ist wirklich super ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man für Strandurlaub braucht. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!!

Het huis ligt in een rustige buurt; bewoners lijken veel rekening met elkaar te houden en alles voelt erg veilig. Toen we aankwamen op het vliegveld werden we opgewacht door de beheerder die ons naar het huis bracht, binnenliet en vertelde hoe alles werkte. Er zijn 3 ruime slaapkamers met aangrenzende badkamers. De living is echt groot genoeg voor 6 mensen mocht je ooit binnen willen zitten. Het overdekte terras is erg gezellig en je kunt er heerlijk ontbijten, borrelen of eten aan het binnenwater. Wat opvalt is dat de eigenaren niet voor de standaard (goedkope) apparatuur, keukenspullen, lakens en handdoeken hebben gekozen. Alles is van goede kwaliteit wat het verblijf in het huis extra comfortabel maakt. De buurt ligt centraal: je bent in 5 minuten bij alle supermarkten en het centrum van Kralendijk is hooguit 10 minuten met de auto. De communicatie met de beheerder verliep heel soepel en we kregen zelfs een late checkout i.v.m. onze terugvlucht. Dit huis is echt een aanrader!

Fijn verblijf gehad in deze accommodatie in een prima buurt. Heerlijk direct aan zee, met prachtig uitzicht en lekker zwembad. Binnen was het een beetje donker en zou een extra lamp niet misstaan, voor ons echter geen probleem omdat we vnl buiten leven overdag. De host Caprice was ook prettig in de communicatie en flexibel mbt aankomst- en vertrektijden.

We loved being at Christine's condo. It was peaceful and charming. The airport is right across the street but believe me when I say you won't even really notice it. We snorkeled right out front a few times. It's a convenient location just outside of the busier "downtown" area of Kralendijk. Christine offers SO many recommendations and is very responsive. We left a little piece of our hearts on Bonaire.

Thanks Corinne. We had a great time. The location was great. Close to town and easy to head south. The kitchen and bedrooms were exactly what we needed for our stay. The deck was perfect for morning coffee. The air conditioning worked perfect as it was pretty hot and humid. Snorkelling directly from the dock and to the right was good. We saw a turtle! It was fun to watch wildlife including an Osprey catching a fish right from our deck. It was so easy to get to the good snorkelling sites with our truck plus we were surprised how much there was to see and do on such a small island. Koos was super helpful. He gave us a map to get around and arranged for our truck rental. He met us at the airport and had arranged to pick up some groceries as we arrived late in the evening. He is a great guy. It was a nice communal area on the deck to meet fellow travellers and also owners. Everyone was very friendly. Thanks again for everything. Kevin and Brenda

Fantastische locatie – een echte aanrader! Bij aankomst werden we hartelijk ontvangen door Chichi, die ons uitgebreid rondleidde en alles over het huis uitlegde. De villa is van alle gemakken voorzien, met voldoende 220-volt stopcontacten en een compleet uitgeruste keuken, inclusief een ruime koelkast en vriezer – ideaal voor een langer verblijf. De villa zelf is ruim en was bij aankomst brandschoon. Hij ligt op een prachtige, centrale maar rustige locatie, op loopafstand van het centrum, gezellige restaurantjes en het nachtleven. De grote tuin bood volop ruimte voor de kinderen om te voetballen, wat ze fantastisch vonden. Een leuke bonus was de visserspier op slechts een minuut lopen. Mijn neefje, een echte visliefhebber, heeft daar heerlijk gevist en we hebben de vangst later op de barbecue bereid – een geweldige ervaring! Kortom, ik raad deze villa aan iedereen aan. We hebben enorm genoten!

Lovely condo in a great location. It was super clean and everything looked new and was in good working order. It was great to be able to completely open the sliding glass doors and have the screened in porch. I appreciated the small touches like having the front door key in a lock box on the door. We didn't have to keep track of keys! The plants around the back door made it feel like a home. There is a little beach with a roped off swimming area at the Sand Dollar which was lovely for a quick dip. It was super convenient to have a dive shop right next door. There are also lots of good restaurants options with in walking distance.

The unit was very clean, well-located and well-equipped. Beautiful waterfront view. Vera was very responsive to a couple of minor issues. The remote to open the gate after 7 pm didn’t work but Vera was there within 10 minutes to fix the problem. And she helped reboot the TV. We definitely plan to stay here on a return visit next year.

We went to Bonaire for our 25th wedding anniversary, and Casa at Sea was the highlight! It is everything the pictures show and more. Mitch met us at the house, showed us around & made sure we were comfortable. He runs a great food truck called Stoked where we enjoyed burgers & wraps. One of our favorite parts of the trip was sitting on the terrace watching the sunset each evening, then opening our eyes to a gorgeous ocean view right from the bed every morning! We got to see a few cruise ships pass by too. The house was super clean & bug-free (a big deal to me) and since we weren't acclimated to the heat the AC in the bedroom was very much appreciated. Ron & Anneke were so lovely! Always warm & kind, but never intrusive. We wouldn't normally share a space with anyone but in this case we're glad we did! It was an absolutely perfect trip, our only complaint is we didn't book enough days! Legitimately one of the most relaxing places we've ever been to... we're already planning our return!

Een fantastische tijd gehad met onze 6 maanden oude zoon. Het in de ochtend wakker worden met zonsopgang aan de haven is werkelijk geweldig. Verder ontbrak het nergens aan in het appartement en was de communicatie zeer goed met de vriendelijke verhuurder. Ik zou het appartement iedereen aanbevelen!

Perfect location that was quiet, clean and great for a relaxing vacation. Very nicely equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely view from the deck. Easy access to beaches, very driveable in 5-15 min.. Lots of restaurants to choose from including one at Ocean Breeze where the unit is located. This was our first trip to Bonaire and would highly recommend. Thanks to our hosts for a lovely stay.
