I had travelled with my family including an infant. This place just felt like home away from home. Nicely maintained & a responsive host. This would definitely be my first option for my next Pondy staycation!!

beautiful place to stay. very spacious place and couple friendly. Premises can accommodate 5 - 6 cars. Since the stay is inside the auroville, it will be always fun and pleasant to commute.

Joli appartement situé à 2 rues de l’ashram et du samadhi, dans un environnement plutôt calme ( pour Pondicherry). Victor est un hôte charmant et Sanath, en charge de l’accueil, est d’une infinie gentillesse, et d’une aide précieuse. Grâce à lui ce séjour a été parfait. Petit bémol concernant les appartements attenants dont les occupants ont fait beaucoup de bruit même la nuit. Cela a été vite réglé grâce à l’intervention de Sanath, mais c’est à savoir.

Our stay at The Coast - Ocean was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and designed for comfort. All the rooms, including the living room are on the top floor, so yes it did get hot but that wasn't a problem because the ACs were fantastically fast-cooling. The bathrooms are spacious and brightly lit. In fact, the entire property is devoid of any dingy corner. Checking in was smooth, thanks to Sushma, who was prompt, efficient, and accessible while respecting our privacy. While the comfort of the rooms may discourage you to step out, step out you must, because the beach, the iconic cafes and the restaurants are all so close! I'd definitely recommend this for a group of 4 to 6.

We were a group of 6 friends who stayed here for a day, and we had a wonderful experience. The place was clean, neat, and exactly as shown in the photos. It had all the amenities we needed, and everything was well-maintained. The caretaker was very helpful and responsive, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. Overall, it was a great experience – highly recommend for a peaceful and hassle-free stay in Pondicherry!

We rented the private hut space in the property and I must say, we felt home instantly! The Hut was so cozy and welcoming and it was exactly and more than what we expected. I wished that the ceiling of the first floor was even higher as we had to crawl every time we had to move. however, we got used to that too quite soon as it brought us all more together. We were allowed access to the common areas of the property. It is extremely well-maintained and it's heaven to be there. The kitchen had everything we needed and it's great we could cook ourselves, make ourselves some tea. Vignesh was a very kind and generous host. He showed us the other rooms which I'm looking forward to booking the next time I'm in Auroville. if you're looking for a place that's away from all the noise, amongst nature, economical, functional and feels at home, this is the place.

Rizas is an amazing host — warm, responsive, and thoughtful. The house is perfect for families, with all the comforts you’d want for a relaxed vacation. It’s conveniently located, with plenty of restaurants nearby and the charming French Colony just 1 km away, which made exploring the area super easy. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it great for those who enjoy cooking or just need a quick meal. Most of the main attractions are within close proximity, so getting around was a breeze. Highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting the area — it truly felt like a home away from home!

Very responsive and helpful host. Clean home which met our needs more than adequately. Due to our limited time and hectic schedule we could not spend time with the host family. We will definitely return in the cooler months and spend more time and explore the lovely city. Thank you guys!!

The host Aparajita is super cool, she knows what a tourist want, i was with my family she listened to every thing properly and every time gave quick resolution. She also provided a list of places and Cafes to visit. The house was also maintained so good. Every necessary items was there. No need to go outside. Big thanks to Aparajita mam.

The place is an apartment away from home and centrally located to walk to all the sights and attractions. The apartment is private and secluded away from the noise of the city. All my requests were responded to and anything I needed help with, I was responded to promptly. Thank you 🙏🏼

Had a great 2-night stay — the place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. It is near to Rock beach and walkable to many good restaurants and French colony. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable visit!

My stay at this luxurious 1BHK retreat in Auroville was nothing short of spectacular! The private swimming pool was a highlight, offering the perfect spot to cool off and soak in the serene surroundings. The modern interiors were stylish and impeccably clean, creating a cozy yet upscale vibe. The bedroom was a haven of comfort, and the living area was ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring. The complete privacy made it a dream getaway for my partner and me, and the tranquil setting truly lived up to its promise of exclusivity. The hosts were gracious and ensured every detail was perfect. I can’t recommend this stunning retreat enough for anyone seeking a peaceful, luxurious escape!

Pros: 1) Covered Car Parking. 2) Responsive and thoughtful host ( she kept some eatables for us during check-in) 3) AC even in the living room . 4) Necessary amenities 5) Lift 6) Far from the hustle of the crowd but still located within walking/driving reach of the happening places. Improvement points: 1) In-house RO facility ( 10L can was provided and host did fill up whenever needed) . 2) A door peep hole will help in knowing who is knocking the door before opening it to strangers. Suggestion to reach location: Please take the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Road (which takes 1 -2 mins more than Google suggested route) as the access road in between is very narrow and roadwork was going on. Overall, definitely a place to visit for a pleasant stay in Pondicherry. thanks for the nice memories. 😃

We stayed here for 3 days and this was worth every single penny we spend . Firstly let me begin by thanking the host . she was such a sweetheart and gave me very clear navigation to the place and this place is in prime location so it's very comfortable. The entire house was extremely cute; she has put so much thoughts into it and I can see her creativity in the home. As a person with OCD, I really felt home in this place . everything was extremely clean and very neatly organized . This place is close to bus stand, beach, we have rentals nearby so accessiblity was a piece of cake here . Host was extremely friendly and really helped whenever needed . caretaker was also such a sweetheart and was extremely helpful . More than the place, the amenities, the comfort , Iam very much moved by the hospitality . Whoever reading this is planning to book, please go for it . It's totally worth it. Ive never been to a better place. Thank you so much for this amazing experience!!!

Great place to stay with your family. We had a great time. The team at La Ruelle was very responsive, making the entire check-in and out experience easy. The place is as the description suggests, close to the beach 🏖️ and right in the midst of White town. Felt right at 🏡! ✨
